I’ll miss some of the food but I’ll live without it. God bless the business men and women who don’t need to virtue signal

I wonder if I can force them to bake me a pro-life cake?

Only if you can manage to get abortion stance added to the protected class list. Please don't

These restaurants aren’t supporting abortion, the chefs are having a fundraiser to support abortion. That is an important distinction, at least to me.

Compare it to Chik-fil-A. The restaurant does not oppose gay marriage, the founder does.

People can have their own opinion as long as they express them on their own time imho.

And everyone’s line they won’t cross is different. Me? I dgaf what the ideology of an owner is as long as I cannot tell as a customer.

Think we would all be better off with that standard. But to each their own, it’s your dime.

I think it’s funny nola.com closed the comment section on that article.

Also, most of those owners are transplants to nola.

Nola has a tradition of being a catholic city. These people are just trying to recreate the culture where they’re from.

They’ll understand when people boycott their places.

Yep. Abortion and food, that's quite a combination.

It’s all restaurants which have opened since Katrina. You’d never see places like commander’s, Clancy’s, dookie chase, etc. do this. They understand the city.

The chefs that are involved live in a bubble. I support their right to organize and put their names everywhere. Let the people know who they are.

Nola.com should open the comment section up. I guess they know what will happen.

Well that's ageist. Leaving out anyone under 21. Plus it's discriminatory towards anyone who can't come up with cash which makes it a class insensitive issue. What a group of elitist, out of touch creeps they are. At some level you must assume the baby body part harvesters are behind all this.

Glad we live in the best food city in the world. It won’t be a problem with the almost 1300 restaurants in the area.

shite, even our gas stations sell delicious food.

It’s sick how they are spinning this as “reproductive rights”. Because they don’t want to say what it really is

Daddy: Yes. Make sure it's a vegan one.

Why not have a bake sale to.....shelter the homeless? Feed the homeless? Donate to AA or St Jude’s?

It's possible to do abortion rights AND everything else you mentioned. The two arent mutually exclusive.

Also, New Orleans is a Democratic stronghold. Nothing is really gained or lost by them doing this.

I think Republicans in LA need to win their cities back and take control of the state economy. Is Lafayette and Lake Charles the only Republican cities left?

There are literally 5 posters who just said they won’t go to those restaurants again.
