There is no border crisis: Federal Statistics Edition

Note: These stats were just released, they are from 2016.
Takeaways:
--The five districts along the US-Mexico border account for just over half of all federal arrests.
--Almost half of the federal arrests in FY 2016 were for immigration offenses.
Takeaways:
--Over 1/3 of defendants charged in ALL US District courts were illegal immigrants.
--Only 5% of non-US citizen defendants on all US District courts were legal aliens.
--The largest group of illegal immigrants being charged in US District courts are from Mexico (30%).
TL;DR - We have a problem with illegal immigration at our Southern border and the numbers prove this, despite any Leftist narrative to the contrary.

These are the kind of objective facts that define a case. We need more of this and less opinion crap. Here, we see a clear epidemic problem
Now there are two conclusions that can be drawn from this:
1) Illegal immigrants commit crimes at the same rate as US citizens. They are average people like US citizens, according to liberals. Therefore bc they commit crimes at the same rate, then the 36% of crimes being committed by illegal aliens means the population of the area being studied is 36% illegals. Which is incredible and clearly shows an epidemic, that our border is being infiltrated constantly
Or
2) illegal aliens commit criminal actions at a higher rate. In this case, we may not have a border security issue. But clearly the illegal aliens are not the same as US citizens in this scenario, and therefore we should not be giving them citizenship or allowing them to come here or stay here
In both scenarios, the people in favor of allowing the illegals in lose the argument

Unbelievable that you guys accuse the left of pushing narratives, and then you spin this shite to push your own.
OF COURSE most FEDERAL arrests are along the border! That's where the FEDS patrol. They aren't working the streets in Kansas.
Did you miss the part you quoted where it says that, by far, the most common reason for the arrests was immigration offenses, NOT violent crime.
I know, I know, even one crime committed by an illegal is too many, but frick man don't twist the facts.
