re: The war is no longer about oil. It is about physics. And physics does not negotiate.

Thanks for your guess
If I guessed 25 and my guess is better than your guess would that make it “worth it” without regime change (just regime decimation).
How about 40 years?
Can we agree we are also talking about a lack of funding for world terrorism while the rebuilding occurs? Or at least a slowdown?

The sort of shite that chat GPT says that sounds smart until you think about it for longer than 2 seconds. How is the war "about physics" now? WTF does that even mean?

Is there something about the statement that their nuclear facilities were obliterated that you disagree with?
Can you post the link where they said they were “two weeks away” (maybe it’s included in what you posted?)
What I heard was:
After we obliterated this nuclear facilities we sat down to negotiate the future
They informed us they still had enough nuclear grade material for 11 weapons and that we could shove it. They would not give up through negotiation that which we could not take militrarily
Evidence suggested there was work being done around the facilities we obliterated either to begin reconstruction or to dig something out (like the material they still had)
Evidence suggested they were simultaneously building an arsenal of missiles drones etc to make these facilities unreachable in the future (or harder than now)
What you see as 2 separate items 9 months apart I see as the continuation of a process begun in. June 2025.
YRMV.

You know what I meant. Iran has been fricking with inspectors since the inspectors started. You can only visit these sites, not those sites. This site is suddenly under maintenance and can't be inspected this week, all that cat and mouse bullshite the IAEA just let happen.

The GBU-57 exists for one purpose. It was designed during the Obama administration specifically to hold at risk Iran’s deeply buried nuclear facilities. It weighs more than most fighter aircraft. Only the B-2 can deliver it. And the B-2 flew from Missouri to Iran and back, a round trip of approximately 25,000 kilometres, to put it through the roof of a building that the IAEA spent fifteen years trying to inspect and Iran spent fifteen years trying to hide.

Absolutely. What was Hegseth's previous highest rank?

We should drop another MOAB on it tonight just to be sure.

The MOP was used.

It was a MOP that was used and that would provide a very interesting result if another were used.

How can you obliterate what was already obliterated?
"It was the greatest obliteration of all obliterations. People say it was like no other obliteration of an obliterated obliteration ever carried out. Like nothing they could imagine. It was a masterful obliteration of an obliteration."
Maybe I can help all the people struggling so much.
Take what Trump says and tone it down to 90%. Now you can understand how Trump speaks. A lot of us picked up on this 10 years ago, but I guess the memo was never sent out.
The saddest part is that you "conservatives" are just parroting the democrat nonsense from the first term. "Trump said he obliterated their nuke facility, but he only destroyed 90%. How can he say 'obliterate?!?!'"
You guys really love to argue over the most asinine points. You ignore all intent and context just so you can bitch over his literal words. Smart people are able to infer what someone means without having to take everything so literally.
You people would literally bitch if Trump said it was a hot day when it was only 90 degrees.

Trump is letting our military play with all the fun toys.

What I like the most is he is not letting them play with these toys as an ad for future buyers. This war is not occurring because we need to sell ordinance.
It is occurring to provide an opportunity for a people to earn their freedom from zealotry!!

Out of all the things maga does, bombing countries for fake nukes is close to top of list of weird decisions. Just say Jews asks to do it

A regime under existential bombardment that believes its nuclear option has been destroyed has two choices: surrender or accelerate.
I realize you (Timeoday) only posted the tweet.
This is complete bullshite. In fact, the regime is clearly ruling out surrender, and it is not accelerating (it can’t). So it is following a third choice, which is drag out the war and keep the Strait shut. Cause damage to regional infrastructure, especially oil and water. And wait until the economic pain becomes so great that the world insists on a cease fire.

They will get their hands on nukes through their European takeover much faster than developing one themselves. Those are the weapons we should be keeping an eye on.

Yeah, that is cool and all when you're hosting a reality show or on the campaign trail, but when you're saying shite to sway public opinion and set policy you should be the one to fricking "tone it down".

Well, I guess you’re right. You’ve convinced me.
Halt the bombing right now. Let Iran develop and build all the nukes they want. And to say we’re sorry, send them a few pallets of cash. I mean, what’s the worst that can happen if Iran builds a few dozen nukes, right?
