And yet, getting by a border wall is easier than that.

Because after all that's all they need to contend with.

You ever walked a thousand miles? A 50 foot rope ladder up against a wall would be a piece of cake.

I'm sorry, but you're big rock and a bow is one of the stupidest ideas i've ever heard.

And by the way, all of this will be a very quick process, as quick and easy as walking across an unsecured border.

Of course. Though some will fall. Others will be apprehended even if a few make it over. Our drones will see groups coming to the wall or attempting to climb it. It will be a much easier task for the BP to do their job.

Your rope ladder would have to be at least 70-80 feet.
You would need to secure it to something (i know, your "big rock")
How do you plan to carry a 70-80' rope ladder 1000 miles? These are poor immigrants, not crossfit champions.

Korkstands everyday southern border illegal immigrant invasion toolkit

1) Bow and arrow
2) Incredibly strong fishing string.
3) 100' plus of heavy duty rope.
4) Very strong illegals to throw the ropes.
5) A big rock.

So these illegals, who can't even provide their own children water to keep from dying, are going to drag a 30-50 foot ladder thousands of miles through the desert.

Generally they hire smugglers to handle such things. The smuggling crew will probably just drive it over in the back of a pickup.

Don't need to. Just get a rope long enough to tie to the fender of said pickup on the other side.

Whatever you think of the whole wall idea, at least think through your argument before posting.

It seems to me it is a pretty dumb argument to say some may successfully scale it so we shouldn't do it. If it reduces illegal crossings by 80%, that is a massive windfall.

Trump’s homeland security department reported that migrants paid $500 million a year to cartels/smugglers to get into the US.

I'm so happy you think this will work.

So, how many coyotes do you know that will get these things?
2) Using your incredible analytical skills, how long do you think your bat-rope ladder will take to assemble?
3) How many can get across in an hour?

Let's raise the cost of doing business on them, shall we? I also wonder about the accuracy of the average figure. That would only account for 50,000 crossers.

We’ve been doing that with drugs for decades. How’s that working out?

Humans are just cargo to the smugglers. What makes you think they will be any less effective?

The fact that walls work all over the world. The fact that even if 50,000 will try to pay to get in, it will stop many of them and all who would go without a coyote.

There is nothing analogous to the US Mexico border out there
