The indians don't even get free admission to the arts council events, much less would they consider actually giving them the land back.

Side note, i am going to SF in about a month. Trying to find a hotel away from bums was kind of difficult. I've never been, but what a shame it must be, if you are a normal thinking person, and your city is known for drugs, bums, needles, and vagrancy. Literally about 1/4 to 1/3 of the city is basically a no go zone for normal people and reserved for vagrants.

"I acknowledge that a primitive, nomadic tribe of peoples once lived on the land, they were later displaced by another primitive, nomadic tribe, who then were replaced by another primitive, nomadic tribe, but they count not hold that land to the power and technology of the colonizing Spanish army, and Mexico that later took the land from Spain after their independence. Final transfer of power was from the Mexican government to the US government after their defeat in the Mexican-American war"

This is so limousine liberals can feel good about themselves without actually helping one poor Native American.

That’s a mighty fancy way of saying you don’t have any argument. You just saw the words “Indigenous” and “acknowledge” and started swinging at a woman you invented in your head.

Round up the Ramaytush Ohlone and lead them to reclaim what is theirs. Let’s see if these pompous asses are serious about uplifting via their own positions and property
Didnt some indians try to get Billie Elish give them her home after she made that speech about stolen land?
She didnt give them shite.
Rules for thee but not for me

What happened to the San Fran bay sea monster poster? Didn’t he have a longstanding feud with the arts commission?
I am that person.
You can listen to a 2 hour interview my brother and I had about our February 5, 1985 extremely close definitive sighting of a 60+ foot long sea serpent in San Francisco Bay and our January 26, 2004 video of several sea serpents in San Francisco Bay on Charlie Romans' podcast called Shadows of Legend by going to www.shadowsoflegend.com . Just scroll down to where it says "Bill and Bob Clark" then tap into our name.

Then they should get their grant money from the Ramaytush Ohlone instead of the US Treasury.

I didn't post the photo of the members of the San Francisco Arts Commission as an argument for anything.
I simply posted the photo to show everyone who the actual people are who are the members of the San Francisco Arts Commission.

Does your brain automatically go to “victim” status? What made you think your presence bothers me hoss? I thought it was pretty obviously a celebratory oh shite but I guess perpetual victims could see it differently.

That reads to me like this: “we took your land, are not giving it back and are thumbing our noses at you Ramaytush Ohlone losers”.
I mean, that’s literally what it says.

Why aren’t they giving it back?

Why do you automatically think I am automatically going to victim status by your answer to my question?
I merely wanted to know whether or not my being back on the board bothers you.
Don't forget, I previously got banned from this board because I posted a thread about a female staff member of the San Francisco Arts Commission wanting me to refer to her as Mx and I told her I wouldn't do that. When a bunch of members on this board emailed the SFAC and ridiculed them for wanting their female staff member to be referred to as Mx, the head of the Arts Commission contacted TD and got me banned.
I don't want to be banned again because I started another thread about the SFAC so I was just curious about whether or not it bothers you that I am back.
I'm glad that it doesn't.

British Columbia Canada is spewing the same nonsense on their provincial park websites..

Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples
BC Parks honours Indigenous Peoples’ connection to the land and respects the importance of their diverse teachings, traditions, and practices within these territories. This park webpage may not adequately represent the full history of this park and the connection of Indigenous Peoples to this land. We are working in partnership with Indigenous Peoples to update our websites so that they better reflect the history and cultures of these special places.
