these people are scum.
the reflecting pool was sinking and leaking. The government fixed it.
No one ever promised to defy the laws of marine biology and eliminate the existence of aquatic micro organisms in a 7 acre outdoor pond that holds over 6 million gallons of water.
That said, the park service is managing the inevitable algae blooms - which is their responsibility. Which just became even more challenging now that the lunatics are threatening to vandalize the reflecting pool.
The scum is just moving the goalposts because they lust for anything to complain about.

No, I questioned treating a government press account as independent verification.
