I think what they’re trying to say is that stuff like this hitting the social media pages is meant to flame the fires of divisiveness. A history and civics teacher I had in high school taught us that over the centuries there have always been two things that crossed over into each other in the same time period and created the downfall of empires: internal conflict and outside aggression. The poster you’re replying to seems to believe that this is purposely staged to help speed the first part of the equation up.
And I’m not saying he or she is wrong.
