Or threw out bait and caught a fish

Venezuela produces 1.2 M barrels per day. Brazil 4 M and Argentina 800,000. It isn't just Venezuela, although they have tremendous reserves.
South America would love to increase their world-wide sales while ME loses sales.

I’ve got some bad news. None of these “massive” investment deals from foreign nations are going to pan out. If they ever existed at all, they’ll be slow dragged until he’s out of office and then cancelled with a quickness.
You don’t really believe he went from collecting 20% on oil tankers to negotiating similar dollars from multiple ME countries in 24-48 hours do you?

WASHINGTON, July 14 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he did not think anybody should be able to charge a fee for ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
"I don't think anybody should be able to charge a fee," said Trump, who on Monday had proposed United States would charge a 20% transit fee.

such as to Venezuela for purchasing oil. All those ME oil producing countries would then lose out on the sales of millions of barrels of oil
2 very different types of crude, it's unlikely a buyer could just swap out one source for another

Brazil and Guyana produce light crude like that found in the ME. Venezuela produces a heavier oil. Its a great time for oil production in our hemisphere.

Well, this is the same R tard that seriously entertained building a moat at the southern brother and filling it with gators.
The sooner people realize he's actually a fukin moron the sooner America will really begin to be great again.

Dude is flip flopping more than Romney these days.

I'm sure none these muzzie countries will use their "investments" to undermine our society with their funding like that have in other Western nations. Islam is playing the long game and Western politicians of every stripe still fall for it and play for the instant gratification buzz every single time.

Trump's in their heads.

I agree, but they wouldn’t be able to snap their fingers and replace the stranded barrels within a month or anything like that. It would be nice, though, to have more Western Hemisphere influence on the global oil market and not continually worry when the next Muslim oil producer is going to act up.
So at least for a while, if those ME barrels are stranded, prices available barrels would escalate until South America could replace them.

Because they continue to get decimated and Trump is more concerned about their citizens than the government of Iran? That makes him a cuck? Sounds like you suffer

So why do you all get upset when we say his extreme measure mean nothing and are full of shite?
How is that negotiating when everyone knows the play?
