Except this is not what happened in Israel/Palestine at all. That land has been fought over and taken by tribe after tribe, religion after religion, country after country, alliance after alliance, and superpower after superpower, since well before recorded history. It is a valuable port land and farmland on the edge of a sea very close the the cradle of civilization.
If you argue that Palestine was disenfranchised by Israel, then you have to follow the chain of disenfranchisement back thousands of years and oodles of countries and states.
It's not that simple and never will be.

The Saudi's alone have the money & capabilities to pull the Palestinians out of their misery. Add in the other Arab states & there is no valid reason for them to be living in poverty. When a country is completely surrounded by its enemies who have sworn to wipe them off the map, said country can't just sit back & react to serious, real life threats.

The Palestinian leadership are fighters, not bureaucrats. They have no ability to operate a government.

What Palestinian lands? There are no Palestinian lands, and there is no Palestine, which is the subject of this entire thread. Every time they have been offered a Palestine, a country, a land for their people, the result has been violence and bloodshed. Israel has conquered "Palestine" many times in order to defend themselves from attack and terrorism, only to give the land back later. At this point, I think they should keep the land and tell the terrorists to frick off.
