I don’t think the mainstream narrative on Hitler is particularly off.
Listening to his speeches doesn’t really change his actions.

The point as I read it isn't to get people to change their feelings on his actions. But context is important for understanding. The poster even framed it as knowing so as not to fall victim again. I can't see how any rational person takes that as a defense of his actions. Not that I think beaux is particularly rational.
