The Mob is finally feeling the pinch of Brandon’s America

Baws, it’s just been in the past couple of years that I have gotten to a really comfortable position in life, financially. I’m not talking living in the lap of luxury as some may, but I could basically go and do with my family and buy baw toys at will without even taking a gander at the checking account. That includes having every major financial payment one can have set up on auto withdrawal - again if an annual payment hit in a month, no worries. I paint this picture to say this is pretty much the first time in this inflated economy that I’m getting that perspiration on the brow and knotty feeling in my stomach over the bank account. In a nutshell, it’s tightening up like Dick’s hatband. Much of this has to do with my decision to put my kids in private school 2 months ago ( tuition plus meals plus 80 miles a day ) but even with all that, I should have more wiggle room.
Anyways, the wife and I are at a place we thought we had come out of for good but it’s all good. We have our health and awesome kids. We cut travel ball out totally, are drastically cutting eating out, went through the accounts and slashed every ap and unnecessary service we don’t need, cut the maid off, etc. I won’t re-up in my hunting club this year, I’ll hunt the farm. We will probably kill our bells and whistles Vz family account and go with Cricket or something way cheaper. I don’t know how I’ll buy my teen a car next year, probably let her drive my good pickup and I’ll drive an old Jeep around town.
I say all this (Dear diary, I know) to say my temperament and emotions could handle all this much better if it was not being brought upon us INTENTIONALLY to bring about the new liberal order. Their words not mine. I despise all of them - the Left - including the Turnip in Chief. There’s no fate too bad for them.
So…anybody else feeling the reins tighten ? Doing anything to cut back ?

We are all just serfs working the plantation to these people. It’s only going to get worse.

That’s what I’m afraid of. Not opposed to selling house and outruns double wide on my land

My kid won't be getting shoes this winter. We're cutting out the luxury spending.

Same here if it gets too bad I will sell my nice home in the upscale neighborhood and live in a moho on my hunting land. Have minimal notes for our income but am definitely feeling the pinch

That’s a BIG one when you have kids.

frick Joe Biden. His candle is about to burn out. But, we are becoming a nation of idiots. The path is set. I will continue to push back, but our direction is wrongheaded, and likely, certain.

Anybody else sick of reading this statement?
It makes me think of what one of our green belts told us: “Don’t die for your country. Make the other bastards die.”

The installed regime would like to congratulate you on doing your part as they continue with the managed decline of our once great constitutional republic. As for me and what I’m doing to slash skyrocketing costs while trying to maintain a somewhat comfortable standard of living….The beagle doesn’t know this yet but I’m getting ready to cut her premium dog treats out of the household budget. These chicken jerky dog treats were $20 a bag prior to Covid19, they went up a buck or two in 2021 now a bag costs $24…..the poor beagle is fixin to feel the pain of a rigged/stolen election.

That travel ball was too. Especially when you don’t live near the venues where they play and have to get rooms

Looks like we have a lot of ants around here that didn’t listen to the grasshopper. How sad.

Thanks to Trump and his administration we were able to watch our investments skyrocket quicker than expected. We were able to tuck away more money and still live comfortably. Hell, We even put our old home on the market and sold it in less than 12hrs + got over asking price due to multiple bids. Live was GREAT! However we knew a down turn could happen quickly (learned that in 2008) so we prepared to be safe and boy are we glad we did. This administration is absolutely trash and hopefully we won't be affected too bad since we prepared. I think we will make for the remainder of his term but if we get another potatohead in the oval, we may have to start cutting back on things.
Here's to the '22 midterm elections where we take over both houses and take the oval in 2024.
Happy Independence Day to all.

Mid forties and I’ve never felt this unsure about the future of my financial security..
It’s unbelievable how badly and quickly these people have fricked this up.. I can only imagine that this is what my parents felt in the 70’s even though they were younger in comparison

Thanks Trola, it sucks but it helps to hear it from someone else, in a weird sense. Again, the fact that it’s engineered is what makes it so unpalatable and gets me fighting mad …I’ll leave it there.

Trump was part of the artificial inflation of the stock market by spending money we don’t have and pressuring the Fed for low interest rates. Then, he crashed the economy with a shutdown and helped precipitate our current inflationary environment through his COVID bailouts.
Trump and Biden have been quite the double whammy of clownshow.

Baw, don't worry because if you're feeling the pinch, make no mistake there are a lot of people much worse off. Not saying take comfort in the misery of others, just saying it would be really bad if gets to you.

That's right. 2016 presidential candidate trump was opposed to it.
