The question is how the Biden-Harris tax plan, if implemented, would affect households earning less than $400,000. On cue, during last Wednesday’s debate, Senator Harris and Vice President Pence sparred over the subject.

The answer? Most households would face a tax increase under the Biden-Harris tax plan. In fact, as the chart shows, unless your household income is less than $45,600, there is more than a 90 percent chance that the Biden-Harris plan, if enacted, will raise your taxes. In the exact middle of the household income distribution, over 95 percent of households can expect a tax increase if the Biden-Harris plan becomes law. Overall, 82.6 percent of American households can expect a tax increase.

Well no shite. Biden says he's going to repeal the Trump tax cuts. That's going to RAISE TAXES. It blows my mind dumbasses take Joe Biden's lie as truth when repealing the tax cuts will raise taxes.

Can they not read their own article? The up to $45,600 quintile will have 93.1% of them being raised.

The only group below 90% is the up to $24,000 group.

and WTF are a third of them having their taxes raised for?

You don’t get it. He may repeal the tax CUTS but he isn’t RAISING taxes. This is basically Trumps fault for lowering them in the first place. I for one will pay my fair share

That ridiculous tax proposal by Biden that people making less than $ 400k will not pay taxes is classic Bait & Switch. Rich people don't pay taxes.......only the Middle Class pay taxes. Been around for decades and I hear democrats make that fake campaign promise over and over and over.

Ya'll need to listen to Peter Schiff breakdown his tax plan. The fact that we have a major party platform with this kind of proposal means we don't live in a free country anymore. They better think about capital controls before they implement those kinds of policies.

My taxes went down under Trump's cuts. Of course it's going to go up if Biden takes them away.

Joe Biden will not have a single year with higher tax receipts with these proposals. They won't pass so it's a non-starter issue in the first place. Raising rates does not raise taxes. Boomers will have no incentives to stay at work and therefore the labor force will shrink and consupmtion follows. Libs are retarded on taxation with their small linear brains.

And after your taxes go up, businesses that see tax increases will pass them on to you.

Even better, your retirement will start to flat line and only rise on your contributions.

3 years after TCJA, 40-60% of Democrat voters still believe it made their taxes go up. The people they trust more than Trump went on camera every day and lied to their face about it, so they deny it even after filing their own taxes for several years.
