Sound like a buncha Democrats. Wait until some of the facts come out tomorrow. I assure you the cops weren’t just standing around with their finger up their arse while kids were being murdered. I doubt most of you boys crying would have the sack required to do what these guys did.

Don't be too hard on them. They were also handcuffing and threatening to taze parents who were trying to handle it themselves.

I think most people were assuming the cops did the best they could on day 1, before any info started coming out. Then it started to trickle out and law enforcement confirmed that the shooter had been engaged by an officer while trying to enter the school but had shot him and got past him.
Then law enforcement changed that and said shooter did not confront any officers until after he was inside. These are statements coming directly from law enforcement and they have changed the facts they initially confirmed.

This small town had 6 ISD officers. That’s fricking overkill in my opinion and still failed. We have one for 3 schools in a small town, all 3 schools on same campus.

That’s the truth. The argument that all the damage had been done is ludicrous on its face. Likewise, the argument that entering and shooting would endanger the kids is ludicrous. Two facts were known at the time: (1) kids had been shot, and (2) the monster that shot them was still inside the classroom with them. You don’t know if some are still alive. You don’t know how many are bleeding out and can be saved. You go in and do whatever you can. There is no regulation or protocol, or whatever other word our resident cops here want to use, that can excuse the cowardice and stupidity that was displayed.

I just don’t see how anyone could come to the conclusion their actions were justified. He clearly wasn’t taking hostages he was executing them. You go in there and do what has to be done and try to save lives. Some kids would still die but I am certain more would’ve lived or at least had the chance to get proper medical care in time. These cops disgust me.
