Does AOC still have her arse up in the air while bowing down to Mayor Commie and his radical muslim buddies?

That picture is worth a trillion words to anyone who is paying attention to what direction this is all going.

You had to whittle away the influence of actual religion first. It hadn’t been done nearly enough by then.

Now….?

LBJ knew the power of the Church in politics, hence the Johnson Amendment. It alone has caused tremendous harm to America.

Socialism/Communism is the philosophy of the intellectually lazy and the scam artists who want government to mandate your entry into their scam. It's the Amway of economic governance as it's "big draw" is a life of plenty through others doing all the work while the listener is told all they'll have to do is collect their largess.

It very literally attempts to sell listeners on the stance that the bourgeoise class is evil for their wealth while also implying that through the magic of redistribution they will become the wealthy. The first-glance theme is that "wealth is a pie, thus in order for others to have more wealth, they must be taking yours." This of course ignores the fact of wealth creation but it's flashy and simple to understand for those not wanting to think too deeply. What it also does is obscure the underlying the very real (and foundational) theme of "other people being wealthy is bad, you being wealthy is good."

And below that? The central point of "you need to empower us to make this happen for you" with also a splash of "you can trust us because we're in this together."

In the 1950s we still had a strong belief in "rugged individualism" as many still lived rurally. Today, our urban areas have helped facilitate the growth of the dependency mindset which is needed for beliefs on Socialism/Communism to take hold.

Fun fact: communists were specifically excluded from civil rights act of 1964.

Some great reads on the infiltration of communism into the U.S. government and Hollywood are Witness by Whittaker Chambers and Venona: Decoding Soviet Espionage in America by John Earl Haynes and Harvey Klehr.
Chambers was a card-carrying communist in the 1920s and 1930s. He was part of secret groups that recruited officials to infiltrate the government. Later, he became a Christian and a senior editor at Time magazine in the 1940s and at National Review in the 1950s. He (through an intermediary) warned the Roosevelt administration about highly placed communists in the government, but FDR dismissed the information.

He later testified before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) in 1948, and the press and Democrats mocked him for helping to promote a “Red Scare.” Ironically, he had hidden microfilm and other evidence (the “pumpkin papers”) of the plot, drawn from Soviet communications with U.S. party members. His evidence was initially resisted by many.
Venona was the name of the U.S. Army Signal Intelligence Service (later NSA) project that collected and decrypted Soviet diplomatic and intelligence cables between Moscow and Soviet operatives in the U.S. (including those linked to the CPUSA). The code was partially cracked, and work on the project continued from 1943 until 1980.

McCarthy was reviled by the press and other elites but when the Venona files were released in 1995, everything he had said was true. He died a broken man but he was and is still a hero.

We need many like him to root out the evils of Communism in our current government and culture.

ETA that Venona specifically confirms the espionage of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg along with the evidence of Alger Hiss being a Russian agent and adviser to FDR. They also show the Soviet infiltration of other members of the Manhattan Prject along with their infiltration into Hollywood.

The people who told us about the authoritarian blacklist of Hollywood were in fact, the ones hoping to be creating that blacklist in the first place.

They didn’t expect to be on it.

All private property will be seized if Marco Rubio or JD Vance doesn't win in 2028?

Or are you just being more overdramatic than the women on The View?

It takes about 20 seconds to look through that screed to detect nothing more than a rant against people who don’t have the correct opinions.

McCarthy was talking about communists as actual agents for the USSR. It was nonsensical on its face.

Now, “commies” is used to refer to anyone who may be slightly center-left…

Have you seen what's happening in New York, California Virginia, Washington, Colorado or are you just blind as a fricking bat?

There are a LOT of Modami and the VA Governor all standing by foaming at the mouth to get placed in.. example: Georgia. If this liberal running for GA Governor wins, GA will turn on to the next Virginia Commie state

You need to be fighting against the commies that don’t believe in government and hierarchy first.

Then take the lazy govt commies second.

You have to think for yourself and read. McCarthy was right on everything. The Alger Hiss issue is just one of the many cases where a highly placed Soviet agent was influencing US policy at Yalta. Many sources and overwhelming evidence has come out over the years.

Good use of the pie analogy. Didn’t Michelle Obama say something about a pie and how, others would have to take a smaller piece so there would be more for others?
