White supremacy has never not been a thing, what was a thing was it was marginalized because the idiots had no real voice. They do now and the light of day is exposing them to the world in a way that they can not hide
What are you talking about? Where is all of this coming from?

As a movement, they have been against minority voting for decades.
So the swing state of Georgia with a Republican legislature and governor that passed legislation that got 97% of eligible minorities registered to vote was against minority voting?
ABSOLUTELY Georgia was...Kemp did everything but pass a direct poll tax to become governor. He did it too soon and failed to make it permanent and the people thus disenfranchised took issue and made certain they were registered and able to vote. Kemp's over reach is as directly responsible for Georgia being blue this cycle as any single action. I know most of you will discount this but you do so at your own peril and without any basis other than you want to believe it ain't so.
Kemp threw people of the voter rolls left and right....legally. He did not do anything wrong....but he did make those people, who are notoriously un-willing to go to the polls, make certain to do so this time around. Kemp failed to come up with a way to keep them off the rolls because there is no legal way to do so....Kemp reminded them they were not registered when normally they would have simply assumed they were and would have not made the effort to vote as they ALWAYS do. Kemp would have lost the governors race without this but Trump and the GOP would have won the general in November.....easily....had Kemp not reminded a little over a million Georgians to register to vote and, in the process, give Stacey Abrams the ammunition she needed to convince them they were being disenfranchised because whitey is mean, Georgia would have been as red as it has been for years.

And the more those people are defended the more people will associate decent moderates with the mob. Those people are pieces of trash and every decent conservative would do well by distancing themselves.
140+ Republicans voted in support of the main idea of the failed coup attempt AFTER that attempt was put down by a crew of mall cops. That is the base of the GOP and will not be forgotten anytime soon. The GOP has lost any meaningful election for the foreseeable future by not at least censuring their members who voted in support of a coup which had just failed.
There is very little doubt that some Republicans will commit even more heinous acts than those seen last Wednesday in Washington in the coming months. There is no chance that the GOP will collectively call for these morons to stand down...in fact just the opposite is going to happen...some Republicans are going to throw good money after bad and it is going to cost the GOP for YEARS to come. This is what happens when you are a minority desperately trying to hang onto some relevance at any cost and decide to do so at the expense of inevitable progress.

And yet all of that was cheered on a promoted with the riots during the summer.
I sincerely hope the right clings to this analogy, ill conceived though it is, and corelates the purely American action of protesting with attempting to overthrow the United States government for now and forever. The American people who do not stand with radicals of any stripe willing to overthrow the US Government will see the not so subtle differences between riots of any sort and a failed coup attempt. Protests and riots are as American as apple pie and baseball.....undermining the institutions of government by conducting a coup which fails is a whole 'nother can of worms and it is not lost on the majority of Americans. Setting police cars afire is reprehensible...entering the capital with hand cuffs while a gallows is being erected on the capital steps with a crowd calling for the lynching of the Vice President of the United States is infinitely more so.
It was a mistake and will cost the GOP dearly going forward and the nation will pay as well because it has set in motion the very over reach that the GOP has rightfully claimed the Democrats will take in the absence of a viable opposition party. The GOP has ensured there is no viable opposition for the foreseeable future.

I'd love to see a bunch of quotes from prominent Democrat elected officials calling out Antifa.
I take your point and accept it completely.....so the right is as bad as the left and many of you despise the left yet accept the right as infallible. Strange that.
Instead of asking what the left has done why not present a Democratic president who has encouraged an angry mob by telling them "We will stop the steal. We’re going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue, and we’re going to the Capitol…We’re going to try and give our Republicans, the weak ones…the kind of pride and boldness that they need to take back our country". What about a democratic sycophant who calls for a "trial by combat" at the same rally?
The left does stupid shite and y'all are right in calling them out. It is disingenuous to state the left is horrible and when the right does equally horrible shite it is acceptable because the left does it. It would be akin to calling out a child molester and then supporting another child molester because the first sick bastard molested a child....

Drive movements underground and history has shown that is a very bad thing.
It is a VERY bad idea and should concern the left more than the right. Cockroaches hate the light and thrive in the dark....

You don't get to go on a 2 month propaganda spree to damage our democracy, cap it off with violent insurrection,
You mean like calling Trump and all of his supporters NAZIs who don’t belong in this country and then causing billions in property damage and setting fires all over DC?

These didn't happen and the First Amendment ABSOLUTELY protects "hate speech"

Dude - both sides are against Antifa and the other apolitical revolutionary anarchists.
Plenty of prominent democrats are on record either supporting ANTIFA/BLM or pretending like they’re not a threat at all. Hell, Beijing Joe said ANTIFA is “just an idea”.

I don’t believe hate speech,
No such thing, legally speaking.
I mean, it was "hate speech" to call Trump supporters racist, but nothing was done about it. Hate speech only works one-way, and that's part of the reason it's a worthless concept.
Besides that, it violates freedom of speech rights for the government to penalize it.

I guess that depends on who you are. If you're liberal and protesting Kavanaugh, it seemed just fine.
Who incited violence, btw?

you are a liar and nothing else.

That line of thinking right there is why we fought the British.
Any kind of speech is protected! Period!
