They are also being told to stay out right now as the attacks continue to weaken the regime.

The US and Israel have made this very clear. Why is it so hard for some people to understand this?

Or we just end up basically where we started, with the (terrible) regime in Iran suffering a temporary setback

At least it is their regime and not a puppet like what was there before.

For good or ill, that matters to natives.

Trump admin and Reza Pahlavi have put out statements telling citizens to stay at home until they give them word it’s time to hit the streets and take control

They haven’t given that signal yet we are still bombing shite

They are

?? BREAKING: MAJOR SIGNAL FROM INSIDE IRAN

A political declaration has just emerged from Arab tribes in Iran’s Khuzestan province — the country’s most important oil-producing region.

In the statement they make several striking points:

• They reject the Islamic Republic and call for the complete removal of the regime

• They demand a secular democratic government based on human rights

• They stress that Khuzestan is an inseparable part of Iran

• They call for unity among all Iranian ethnic groups including Kurds, Azeris and Baluch

• They express support for Reza Pahlavi as a unifying national figure for a future transition

Khuzestan is not just another province.

It is the heart of Iran’s oil industry and one of the most strategically important regions in the country.

When voices from inside that region begin calling openly for a democratic future beyond the Islamic Republic, it signals something much bigger:

The cracks inside the regime’s foundations may be widening

It's not our problem, but here we are 10 or so days later still bombing with no end in sight.

Sure, yeah, you all just go "protest" and have no weapons, not a good recipe.
It was good enough to overthrow the US governent on 1/6.... apparently.

It is about keeping Iran from making nuclear weapons. I don’t care if they “rise up”. This is a weak attempt in redirecting the narrative so this action can be seen as a failure.

Here is the point of the bombings…
The Iranian leadership was/is determined to build nuclear weapons.
We killed them and will keep killing them until they agree to stop attempting to build nuclear weapons. Really pretty simple.

You’re wrong. It’s about regime change. Always has been.

Nope, regime change is secondary to the main goal of keeping Iran from aquiring a nuclear weapon. They may go hand in hand, but we wouldn’t be bombing the shitout of them if they hadn’t continued down that path.

It’s really weird that we’re targeting all these non-nuclear sites all over Iran and sinking ships in the Indian Ocean just to accomplish the very specific task of ending their nuclear program.

Disingenuous much?

3 days into the battle, US Centcom was posting degradation graphs and percentages of the drops. Should they just stop the bombing raids in your opinion?

About 35k of them very recently won the grand prize of death for their efforts.

Let’s try and consider that while we impatiently get irritated because “they’re not doing anything!” yet 10 days into this effort.

How many Iranian refugees or asylum seekers are we willing to take?

9 million? 10% of their population or more?

Lazy bastards won't walk through a door that's been opened for them.

No wonder it's so easy for a totalitarian to rule them.
