Trump took some diplomatic gambles in his first term, pre-emptively struck in his second, and now the only acceptable outcome in Iran is regime change. This feasibly could take a minute to clean up.
Sure Biden pissed a lot of people off with keystone, but he had less control over supply chain nonsense from Covid & Eastern Europe than Trump did over this happening or not.

Neither of those a actions had an immediate effect on gas prices.
It was-
1- Covid shutdowns caused a huge decrease in demand for oil, so opec cut production, when things opened back up the supply was way too low and it took months to crank things up and catch back up
2- the sanctions on Russian oil because of the Ukraine war hurt the world gas/oil supply and spiked prices everywhere.
