Do you think the only reason people are opposed to the wall is the cost? The cost is a big factor -- and the wall is going to cost a lot more then $5 billion to build and maintain -- but there are also ecological, political, and simply aesthetic reasons to oppose a wall....a wall that will accomplish nothing, btw.

I understand people not wanting a wall. But honestly...

This is really catching on. We may not hit the goal, but at the very least it sends a message to Washington to stop messing around and do what our president wants and what the people of this country voted for.

No, not unless this thing grows at least 100 fold. 10 million people and $600 million might send a message. A small one.

Here is the deal. They can call the President all the names in the book but they can run from the numbers of Americans who have already put their money where their mouth is, an it ain't over yet.

You damn straight they can't twist this

$6,000,000 out of a 5 or 10 billion dollar project is absolutely nothing.

No one in Washington will notice or care if they even happen to hear about it.

People are wasting their money on a meaningless gesture that has a 0.0% chance of funding the border wall.

Call me back when there’s 50 million people donating $2 billion or so. Then it may have “caught on”.

So 0.20% of the total cost?

Yeah, good luck with that.

$5 Billion over several years is absolutely nothing for a country with a $4 TRILLION annual budget.

Can we divert these funds from a wall and instead build camps to throw idiots like you in?

Your point being?

ETA: Money is not the object. Democrats oppose primarily because a)Trump wants itor b) they oppose it regardless of its cost

So why don't you quit being a little bitch and go donate a few bucks?

See, I don't think we'll actually be able to crowdsource 5 billion for the wall, but once this thing hits the 20 million mark, I think it might empower our dear leader to start calling the GOP out for the pussies that they are.

But who knows. Maybe that's what you and all these naysayers are hoping for.

He very well may. But why would that be persuasive?

I’m 99.9% positive that the GOP is already well aware that there are a couple million people who really want the wall
