Opinions and circumstances change. If some poster has demonstrated that they are here for honest debate and say they have had a change of heart, my default position is to assume the reversal is genuine.

HHTM caught hell earlier this summer for declaring he finally was boarding the Trump train yet I believe he was genuine. What genuine person wasn’t moved by Trump’s determination after the assassination attempt?

There were only a few that actually felt that way. RonRicks and a couple others whose names I cannot remember right now.

The intelligent ones of us, who were admittedly behind DeSantis in the beginning, once it became quite clear who the nominee was, jumped on the Trump train rather quickly and with great enthusiasm. I mean, in the end we are all on the same side in this.

The most butthurt ones are the ones that constantly STILL degrade DeSantis supporters because, I guess, they are quite insecure or something.

I didn’t get vaxxed. What I did see was Trump allow the federal government to steamroll him in 2020 and I thought we had to find someone else that wouldn’t fold under pressure.

I changed my mind when it became clear God chose him and then serious people who have serious policies got behind him with pledges to work with him.

You can be butthurt about that, but it says more about you than it does about others

You started a thread crying because no one on this board would listen to you and you want to talk about sad?

Now they are our brethren.

They have been all along.

I was one of the board's most fierce proponents of unity during the "Team RonBots vs. Team Cult45" nonsense. I'd have been fine with either candidate. I do believe on the national stage that Trump drummed up a bit more excitement and support, though that's a two-edged sword because he also drummed up more hysteria within the opposition.

Trump, Desantis and Vance are ALL America First. We all need to stand together right now and not allow petty differences to divide us, lest we end up making excuses in 2028 like the liberals are doing right now after an embarrassing loss.

Please, let's all commit to dropping the Cult45 and RonBots nonsense, and collectively step on the throat of Dims together while we're riding a tidal wave of success. These events that monumentally go in favor of base conservatism don't occur very often in our modern world, and we should relish the opportunity to sweep the leg together and enjoy ourselves for once.

I can attest to this. You busted my chops every time I expressed concern that the Dems were once again going to attempt an exercise in ballot stuffing to push Kamala across the finish line. Thankfully, Trump’s margin of support was TOO BIG to rig!

I don’t have to even comment in this thread because I didn’t join the ronbot crew nearly as hard as the others.

It doesn’t change the fact that you’ve literally never had a post of substance. If anything it was you and MoT who turned people off to getting back behind Trump. You’re a sad guy with small thoughts

I seriously doubt it. He may not have done as well with the AAs, but he'd probably pull similar Hispanic numbers, and would have done better with women. Honestly not sure about young men, I would have to see his campaign, but unlike Walz, I bet he'd actually look masculine.

It’s not about Trump or DeSantis. It’s about a few morons that find purpose in this board, and want to feel “special” because they MAGA’d harder than those that thought DeSantis would be a better president. They’re like the incels that find solace in “but I saw her first”.

Seriously, he said that. Not at the beginning of the season, but near the middle.
