I know there are parents saying that “he’s still shooting” but I wasn’t able to hear any shots being fired. I wish there was a way to know the time that was recorded.
I’m no hero, I’m simply a man that would find a way into the school and no freaking cop is going to stop me if my kid were in that school. If I die so be it but I won’t be on the sideline screaming and asking “what the frick” while kids are being slaughtered. The what if scenarios would eat me alive knowing that I stood by while that was taking place.

I want to believe that the cops would have had to shoot and kill me to keep me from going in after that long.

Agreed 100%. The issue was the cops, like most cops, are dumbfricks. Parading around with your taser out and using it, handcuffing people, etc is only making the situation worse.

When my children start school, it is about 4 blocks from my office. I will carry kit in my truck every single day. I will not be told to stand down if the local LE does little to nothing. I will not comply.

cops here are the same, call about an active shooting and they take an hour to show up, say the shooting is over and no one is shooting any more and they show up in 5 minutes. they simply refuse to enter any area with an active shooting going on until the shooting has stopped
My time spent with SRT was nothing like that. A 4-man cell was the preferred approach, but a 2-man cell could clear one of our larger schools in a matter of minutes.

A lot of cop bashers in here thinking they are tough. It is protocol for any mass shooting scenario. Non cops don't think of all the possible scenarios.

So the cops got there a few minutes after he went in, the Cops tried to enter but were shot at, then they retreated to parking lot and called for backup, waited a gotdamn hour for tactical team.
