The only card Trump will have left is to (hopefully) leverage China to pressure Putin the end the war.

The US has lied to and pissed on Putin so much, who knows if any decent relationship can be established with Putin.
It would be in the US best interest to form better relations with Russia, maybe offer economic incentives, to get Russia away from China.
Russia becoming closer to China is definitely NOT in our best interest.

The US should have done this decades ago. The world would be a better place if the US, Europe, and Russia were on better terms.

From the reading and listening I've done, Russia was expecting to be included and accepted more with the west. Instead, the opposite happened.
Not smart foreign policy at all.

If you so adamantly believe in the International order and it's rules fine. But the US and nato broke them in regards to f@cking around in Ukraine helping all this to come to a head. They ripped up a peace treaty. But let's keep pumping billions into this meat grinder for the International Order?

Russia's message to NATO should be:

UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER of Ukraine.

Just like the USA insisted for the Confederate States of America.

Just like we demanded of Nazi Germany.

Unconditional Surrender.

Russia should make war to the absolute knife over this issue and not give one inch to the USA.

That would be my grand strategy advice to Russia.

I'll pass and so would Ukraine. Such as you want will lead to a longer war.

My argument is based on my conviction that Russia can win a very long war in Ukraine. If my opinion is wrong, then, Russia should seek peace.

So, yes, of course, i could be wrong.

There's no way? Really? I bet there's a way Biden and friends can pull this off

We might as well go ahead and nuke Russia if we do this

I think Russia can win the long war too. But I don't think that was the original plan. I'm guessing it was thought to be a short war and establish a pro friendly Russian government. That of course failed. The big question now is what if anything is the prize that they will except for a peace deal? A unconditional surrender is a no go for nato and Ukraines neighbors. They do not want greater Russia on their borders and who can blame them. If this is what Russia demands you might as well make Ukraine nato and get everyone involved.

Your opinion is that the USA has the stomach and capability to fight a long ground war in Russia. My opinion is that the USA, as a nation-state, is unable to accomplish this feat.

Russia should test the absolute resolve of the USA to fight a ground war with ground troops inside Ukraine and Russia. My opinion is that the USA is unable to even attempt that feat, and, if it tries, it will not prevail in that kind of war.

So, if I am Russia, I am right now negotiating with China regarding what would be their terms to send some Peoples' Army combat ground troops to Russia, to fight against the Western ground forces there.

So, how well do you suppose that the US military could do fighting a ground war in Russia and Ukraine against Russian and Chinese military forces? You know that after less then one year of fighting, all of the USA's NATO allies would bug-out of the fight. No way any Western Nation besides the USA could sustain a ground war in Russia for more than one year. No way. They would all bug- out within a year.

Russia and China can establish a solid front against US hegemony by making an example of Ukraine - if the USA sends ground forces to that war theater, make sure that they meet China's military there.

You people thought you were going to foment a coup and oust Putin so it’s not outside of your idiotic thinking that you would be able to take nukes out of Russia and give them to Ukraine

RFK… yes there are plenty of men that would stand up to Putin and Russia.

Obviously you know nothing about Ukraine and Russian ethnic people that live there. Like the Donbas, they don’t want to be a part of Ukraine they want to be a part of Russia especially since the meddling of the US the past 20 years. We have overthrown their elected government twice. The corruption in Ukrainian is substantial.

Did you know that missiles from Kiev have been launched into the Donbas to attack Ukrainian citizens and structures??? That would be like the Biden admin launching missiles in to the Deep South because we were going to vote republican.

You idiots that believe what the MSM tells you that Russia bad and Ukraine good have no clue what you are talking about.

All you pearl clutchers need to realize that most of the citizens of the US doesn’t give a shite which country has a dictator. Let the citizens deal with them. We did it almost 250 years ago we fought for our freedom from the Brits. Let Russian citizens do the same if they want to overthrow Putin. Same with any other country. That’s where the “men” need to stand up in countries that are affected by that behavior, not the US and our sons and daughters.

No where in my post did I express my opinion on US resolve. Why do you so obviously mis- quote me? What I offered was about demanding unconditional surrender and it's consequence on the world stage.

Those are old Russian nukes. Ukraine does not have the launch codes.

If Ukraine is going to receive nukes, it'll be nukes made in the USA guaranteed
