If we all would just take a stand and not patronize this BS taking place in sports and music, it would stop.

But noooooooo! I gotta watch my NFL

The walk outs - curious if we are 2 songs into the set or in the final song of the encore type of territory

Well, to be more accurate it was:

"The Robinson Brothers present an evening with the music of The Black Crowes" were booed for dissing a crowd chanting "USA."

(Just FTR)

I mean, can you have the Crowes, really, without Jeff Cease? Maybe. Without Jeff, Steve, Johnny or Eddie (of course Eddie's gone)? So no one but the Robinsons from the first SIX albums?

Either way they already have your money.

You'd have to cancel if you have future tickets and refunds are allowed.

All of their music is so derivative. Catchy, but nothing original about the band.

While entertainers certainly possess the right to their political opinions like anyone, I continue to be …uh, impressed ….with how many of them lose touch and somehow come to believe that people are shelling out money to come listen to them give those opinions.

I'm impressed. I have heard of them but couldn't tell you the name of one of their songs with a gun to my head. Before, I was ambivalent about them but now they can kiss my All American arse!

Creed pulled out of a Kid Rock gig. Then possibly rejoined later.

Odd the overall theme is OMB but they screw themselves in political protest..

Some of us aren't afraid of what?

What a fricking douche bag. Never really got the fascination with them. A couple of decent tracks, but meh besides that.

Went to one of their shows 2 weeks ago in Birmingham. It was one of those things where my wife was like "the Black Crowes are playing tomorrow, can we go?". I didn't pay much for tickets. In my head, I thought they had a much larger catalog of hits.. I graduated high school in 91, and enjoyed their music through college, and then they just sort of disappeared. So we get to the concert and by song 8 they had played the 3 songs I really remembered well, and I realized these guys are skating off about 5 recognizable songs. By the way, it seemed like the majority of the Birmingham crowd was not there to see the Black Crowes, but Whiskey Myers the opening act (who I had never heard of, but is why the majority of the crowd under 45 was there).

Who cares? They've sucked since their 2nd album. Which was what? Over 33 years ago?

The 4 big hits off the debut album, Shake Your Moneymaker (and really launched them) were Jealous Again, Hard to Handle (an Otis Redding cover), Twice as Hard and She Talks to Angels.

Off of the follow up, The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion (which was a #1 album), Remedy was a monster hit, then Thorn in My Pride and Sting Me.

Like a lot of bands, they kind of faded starting with their 3rd album, Amorica, but even after the Robinsons fired everyone except Steve, they delivered a Top 5 album, Warpaint, in 2008, fully 18 years after Shake Your Moneymaker, but most casual fans won't remember anything after those first 2 monster albums.

Both brothers are looney tunes, but Rich actually looked what I though an older version of Rich would look like. Chris looked ridiculous, like an old Jewish lady. Sounded good, but seemed drunk or stoned (big surprise), and just looked dumb.
