The biggest lie, that has caused the great division between the left and the right…

…is “Equality”
The right interprets this to mean that all people should be treated equally in the eyes of the law.
The left interprets this to mean that all people are born equal in ability. But this just isn’t true. Women, on average, are not as strong as men. Chinese, on average, are not as tall as blacks in America. The differences between groups are obvious to anyone with eyes.
And what happens when one believes that all people are born truly “equal”? When the outcomes aren’t equal, it must mean one group has cheated or held another back. It breeds jealously for those in a group that hasn’t achieved as much as others. It breeds guilt in some members of a more successful group.
Why is Haiti a shithole? To a person on the right, the Haitians haven’t applied themselves as successfully as the Japanese. To someone on the left, something like white colonialism must have prevented the Haitians from obtaining equal footing in the global economy.
If the left could just come to terms with the simple fact that people just aren’t equal, that some groups have certain advantages / disadvantages over other groups, maybe we could begin to see eye-to-eye a little more.
The myth of “equality” is the seed from which all this division stems.

Equality vs Liberty. That’s always been the tension between Left and Right.

The Prog/Dim filth know this ^^^^ is true but they also know that their power lies in creating divisions among Americans with their vile identity politics. What’s so damn frustrating is how many Americans keep falling for their BS!

No way. No one thinks that.
Why do you lie to yourself?
Do you know people who claim that?
No one on td does.

Bingo. All "equality" should mean is a level playing field.
All people are not "equal" in all ways.
Some people are smarter than others. Stronger. Harder working. More beautiful. Healthier. etc.
The left refuses to acknowledge that.

There is no such thing as equality of people. The most any republic can offer its citizens is equality of opportunity.

What equality? I live in the "most free" nation on earth, yet I pay higher taxes than my neighbor, get less benefits from my government, am legally discriminated against on the basis of race, and condemned openly by roughly 40% of my countrymen.

The Left oft employs the terminology "life's lottery", Smeg, in pointing to life's (random chance) inequality. They see the inequality, but they believe that because it's Natural random chance that people are born with particular Genetic or Cultural "privilege"...and such (injustice) should be addressed by a higher form of moral, Social Justice.
That is why Libs must dump the God Idea; and the whole 'predestination'/"the hairs on your head are numbered" thing. The Idea that God may have a hand in who and where we are born into this life...is abomination. That Idea to Religious people, is basic and ultimate Justice; rewarded according to one's beliefs and actions.
Time will tell. Likely that each of us ultimately are arbiters of our own Reality. That way...we can't blame God if we blow it.
One thing is for sure...it's one of the two above. No shades of grey there.

The left wanting equality isn’t the problem. What they really want is preferential treatment for a certain few based on their sex/sexual orientation or the color of their skin.
Equality would be everybody getting equal opportunity based on their knowledge, ability, or expertise.
What they want is the equivalent of adding a bunch of white dudes to the NBA to mirror the demographic makeup of the US while simultaneously damaging the quality of play based on something that has nothing to do with basketball playing ability. Skin color. But instead of damaging the quality of a sport it’s damaging the quality of everything else.

All are created equal. Some choose to improve upon and better themselves. Some choose to stay where they are and blame everyone else.

To be fair, in the case of Haiti, they were robbed of billions in funds in aid sent from around the world and continue to be robbed by HRC's brother, who is in charge of their gold mining.
Our vile politicians in power are some of the problem.
NO American should become rich while in a position called "public service".
I say this about Dems and Repubs alike. They're all filth in the end.

The left refuses to acknowledge that
The left does acknowledge it (“_____privilege”), but their method of leveling the playing field is to bring down those on top rather than lifting the lesser out of their current state.
Take fatties for example. Instead of encouraging people to live healthier lifestyles, they attack healthy folks as health-privileged, and tell fatties that the healthy people are the problem, not the fattie

The biggest equality lie is that everyone lives in the same IQ neighborhood.

I agree that this is what it means. But the other truth is that we, even in 2019, can not fully achieve equality under the law. Look at family law and "courts of equity". Look at drug convictions of first time offenses.
drug sentencing
There is a disproportionate number of sentencing even when their is no previous criminal history. (I will concede that previous offenses make it worse).
Haiti isn't a good example. The issue at hand is that it was a successful slave revolt. Due to that, none of the major world powers at the time would want to trade with them.
Haiti council on foreign relations
In Japans case, they had 200 years of isolationism with no real development until the US used gunboat diplomacy in the mid 1800s to to force them to westernize (ie catalyst for the Bakumatsu)
Bakumatsu

You do believe in engineered outcomes. Which impedes both social and economic progress for everyone. And yes you do turn a complete blind eye to real world evidence that certain groups hold advantages that will advance their societies to a better place than the destinations of others. Excusing away those advantages with tired, predictable, ignorant cliches, That's why every under pinning of the radical left movement is a pre-determined failure.
