Is this a subtle anti-leftist piece? The 2 conservative couples look normal, well adjusted and healthy while the leftist looks like an obese, useless, malcontent who publicly advertises medical procedure that ended a life and is frequently the source of distress for those who've had it done.

This would be like moving one’s family into the New Orleans metro and expecting the walls of a gated community to hold up when ‘thug nation’ gets the green light from Dem Government. Which they already have to some degree. France comes to mind. Live and learn.

I'm all for the self-segregation of ideologically different factions of people. Be around the people you're comfortable around. I don't want to live in Seattle any more than the Portland anqueefers want to live in Texas.
Let's just divide along hard state lines and see which states are left standing the longest. We need to either balkanize or go back to the original limitations placed upon the federal government by the Constitution.

I have a house in the north end of Boise and I don’t feel like it’s becoming less conservative. The current mayor is a democrat and seems favored to win a second term in November. Boulder and Boise feel very similar to me and I’m in both quite a bit.

If we could relinquish most of the domestic power from the federal govt. to the individual state govts. so that people could live among like minded people, then there would be a possibility for national cohabitation between the two ideologies.
