Why should it anger us? It’s natural to change goals to fit reality. When I was a kid I was going to be a professional football player. By the time I reached high school I had given up that goal and was going to be a wealthy mogul. Now I’m a shitposter on tigerdroppings.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll eventually find something you're good at.

This war was basically a human sacrifice to increase Military Industrial Complex stock prices

Knowing the crooks in this Biden bunch, undoubtedly they're in the process of trying to figure out a way to shift the blame for this disaster to Donald Trump.

Yep. NYT has started to float the editorials today on how a ceasefire with no reset to original borders is a win for the Ukraine and the world.

Those corrupt idiots. I have said that from the beginning. Ukraine should have saved lives and equipment and just declared victory when they pushed back the diversionary attack on Kiev (I don't think Russia ever planned to occupy Kiev, but wanted the diversion to be able to take the eastern territories.). Russia basically gave them a save face out.

Ukraine has fought this war for almost 2 years cost of 150 billion USD or so. If Ukraine gets 300 billion USD then they would be able to buy the stuff they need to fight for another 3 and 1/2 to 4 years.

This is from weewee the liar who said he got intel from the ground in Kiev from tinder girls. Also said he flew first class multiple times to the front lines

This is the insanity of the ot war thread

time to redirect those funds into political races

What makes you think they haven't been doing that? Anyone who believes >70% of the funding actually went to help Ukraine is a fool.

Money and materiel won't matter if they don't have bodies. They are kidnapping people to fill the ranks.

NY Times.

As Russia's war against Ukraine is set to soon enter its third year, Ukraine is getting desperate for more troops, so much so that military recruiters have confiscated people's passports and even tried to enlist a mentally disabled man, per a new report on recruiting efforts citing lawyers, activists, and other concerned civilians.

"There's lawlessness here," a 58-year-old Ukrainian taxi driver told The New York Times in a report published on Friday that details the forceful tactics Ukraine military recruiters have been reportedly taking to boost the Eastern European country's manpower in the bloody fight against Russia.

The taxi driver from the Ukrainian city of Kitsman who declined to give his name out of fear of retribution told the Times that military recruiters seized his passport and only returned it to him days later after he showed up to a medical screening.

Local residents told the new outlet that recruiters from Kitsman have gotten a reputation as "people snatchers."

It’s almost exactly like some of us have been saying this since day 1. A lot of wasted lives and we are at this inevitable point.

Why anger? Ukraine has managed to hold a more powerful nation with imperial ambitions to a stalemate.
If Ukraine continues as a sovereign nation aligned with the West, that’s
a victory in reality. It returns to the
status quo, ante of ‘91.

Rinse and repeat. The OT thread doesn’t seem to understand this. It was always about laundering money. Had to make up for the Trump term and refill the coffers.

Dems would Praise Biden for ending the war....

For the majority of MSM outlets and retarded progressives, Biden could walk up to the podium, pull down his pants and take a massive shite in front of everyone and they would spin it as Biden being awesome. No matter how many things his administration fricks up, reverses course on and just has the plain wrong stance, it never matters in the eyes of the stupid and deceitful.

I was, and am, in favor of supporting Ukraine’s war effort. Obviously this is not the victory we hoped for, but it is an outcome that will work for us.

Truly frick yourself. If you want to support a foreign country in a regional fight then write a check to them and go to the front lines yourself. Don't cheer from the fricking couch and demand that other people's money be spent in an effort that was always going to fail.

Money dried up because the public stopped supporting it despite the theater of MSM demanding otherwise. We should pat ourselves on the back a little for this one.
