Isn’t this the same wash and repeat since the Korean War? MIC gets rich off taxpayer funding while sending domestic and foreign souls to die?

What do you think Trump would do about Ukraine?

I think he would and will let Russia take it all.

He gave them aid before.
He’s said he’d tell both sides to quit fighting and settle or else.

He didn’t mention rolling over for Putin.

For what? The fact is the war is costing Russia in thousands of lives and billions of dollars, and it isn’t helping their economy.

You still 100% believe state run propaganda. I actually envy that you can walk around life this clueless. You may not have a care in the world. Bless your heart.

Russia is economically better off today than it was in January of 22, and it’s because of the sanctions regime.

I was, and am, in favor of supporting Ukraine’s war effort. Obviously this is not the victory we hoped for, but it is an outcome that will work for us.

Russia learned that this irredentism comes at too high a cost. It will be a long time before they try this again. Had we done what you wanted, and sat this out, Ukraine would be Russia’s and several key neighbors would be so intimidated that they would practically be vassals of Russia.

Hopefully China got the message, but I doubt it. We need to make a deal with Russia soon and arm the ever living hell out of Taiwan. Hopefully we have spent the last couple of years onshoring critical technological and metals manufacturing so we can embargo China.

Thank you for justifying my opinion on stupid fricking liberals.

Why anger?

Because we’ve been shoveling billions of dollars of cash to Ukraine, ( paying pensions, EMT services, for shops to stay open, etc.) for a war everyone knew they’d lose, and we never even sought a peace agreement until the cash ran out.

I appreciate the kind words, but if you really believe Russia isn’t losing thousands of lives and the war is not costing them billions of dollars then you are the one that Needs help.

100bil + in debt tons of dead and Russia getting exactly what they want is the outcome that works for US?

Penrod is saying that there were two possible outcomes: This outcome or sacrificing all of Ukraine to Russia.

The outcome that works best for the US is to have pledged not to offer a NATO membership to Ukraine before Russia invaded Ukraine and there would have been NO hundred billion and no casualties.

Although, as we all know, they would have found SOMETHING to spend the 100 billion bucks on...
