I was kinda shocked when I learned.
At some point these were getting sent to the boneyard but I think doctrine adjusted away from an all stealth bomber approach.

They are most likely not using carpet bombing techniques. While the bombs themselves are "dumb" and not self guided, they probably using CCIP (Constantly computed impact point)systems or CCRP (continuously calculated release point) to drop them accurately on targets.
The computer takes in account the wind, direction of travel, altitude, etc and will tell them when to drop to drop those bombs as precisely as possible.
