Full disclosure: There are moments when it's hard to have sympathy for some people. When a patient's family is screaming at you because you try to tell them their loved one is in fact dying from covid and not any of the 1000 other things they want them to be dying of so as to protect their beliefs, you have thoughts that you feel really awful about later. You never voice them but they're still there all the same.
But I recognize that, on the flip side, many people have been driven to those positions because of the behavior of those on the other side. And it's easy to understand why they gravitate to the people and ideas that they do.

As I mentioned I got the vax but really don't care if someone doesn't want it or is against it.
But wishing death on someone because they are for/against it is really messed up no matter which side of the fence its on.

I don't really care if any one individual does or does not get the vaccine. At this point it's available to everyone and I'm fine with letting us all be adults and assume the risks of our actions. It is a pretty massive beating to have to listen to patients and families day in and day out take an angry dump on you for trying to offer them information for their own benefit that challenges their beliefs.
Now most families, even most anti-vax, covid conspiracy types end up being grateful and accepting of reality when shite hits the fan. There are few covid conspiracy types in foxholes if you will. But there's enough who dont that theres usually at least one a day in my life of work.

I know a lot of good people who did get the vax for various reasons who aren’t lunatics and most are even politically conservative.
To wish death upon them is sick and more importantly against my faith. Evil begets evil.

FWIW, I agree with the rest of your post. It is pathetic to wish ill on others just for making decisions concerning their own personal health choices.

I went to the VA last Thursday with my daddy and the lady in the front asked if he was vaccinated. He looked at her confused and said, “Well yeah, since I was a kid.” She actually laughed and said “Your Covid shot?” He said, “No, and don’t waste your time bc I’m not getting it,”
We are not anti-vaxxers. Stop saying this. One side wants to be left the fk alone and we have a govt trying to force us to inject something while half the population wants to take our kids from us, destroy our livelihood, and celebrate our deaths!

I have no animosity towards the vaxxed,we need Guinea pigs.I don’t wish the vaxxed would die.
My stepson in his 40’s,vaxxed and boosted,was giving me hell at Christmas about me not taking the vax.I’ll admit I laughed and rubbed it in when he got the covid and I didn’t .

I don’t wish it on them either. I sincerely pray that people will wake up and I am happy that many eyes are opening because people need to stop getting these boosters.
As for all these Marxists.... I feel giddy with each booster they take and I hope their numbers dwindle so that my children and grandchildren aren’t having to fight their offspring.

They act like this because they believe the lie instead if God.
They were told:
1) Get the jab and no one will ever get covid again.
2) Only the non-vaxxed can spread covid.
If we believed these lies we would possibly act like them too; however, we still have some commons sense left. They haven't had common sense for a while.
