The aim of ‘Common Sense Gun Control’ is no guns owned by citizens

If we give an inch they will come back after the next tragedy and want a foot.

It will never end.

Something about the government using the words “common sense” just doesn’t jive

Gave them abortion, now want 40 week abortions

Gave them gay marriage, now want tranny time at elementary schools and kids to pick their own genders.

Sorry can’t trust them with our guns.

I have seen people in the last few years go from universal background checks to ban assault weapons to now get rid of the second amendment.

Dan Bongino made a great point the other day. He said, the leftist don't see any benefits to owning a gun only negatives. When we say cars kill more people than guns, they can't equate the two because they see many justifiable reasons for owing and driving a car.
But since they don't own guns for self protection, enjoy hunting and don't see target shooting as a fun sport, to them, guns only have one function, killing people.
And that's why it's easy for them to say, get rid of all guns.

I hope that's where the real argument of the left finally goes so we can cut out all the middle ground BS as you say.
Its not much harder to put 4 cut off shotguns and 4 single action colt 45 six shooters under your coat and kill as many as the last two shooters did.
Then what?
I think we all know.
