Hasn't he given away his income the last 3 years? Kind of hard to pay income taxes without income.

The Dems are pissy because they get called out on this shite specifically because they run on higher taxes.
John Kerry got a lot of shite at one point for docking his yacht in Rhode Island over Massachusetts for tax purposes while he was a Senator in Massachusetts. Legal to do what he did but he represented the state and he ran on a high tax platform so it was hypocritical as hell for him.

People forget that for a business the ideal tax liability is zero. Take all the write offs, deductions etc make use of depreciation and reinvest into your business to alleviate paying taxes on corporate profits. This is far different than your personal return on money earned by a common W2 type employee.

Doesn’t help that the US tax code is fricked and that you tend to get double taxed on foreign income if you repatriate it to the US.
I believe a big chunk of the Trump recovery was kickstarted by letting those countries repatriate that money with either no tax or low tax a few years ago. Want to say Apple alone repatriated billons.

Im going to tell you ....Hollywood doesnt want this level of scrutiny. It will interesting just how many tv/movie stars/producers take up this tax argument. They absolutely know that their "people" use every deduction available...and in some cases keep two sets of tax records

Been had? I don't know about you, but my taxes have gone down because of Trump and I am far from one of the wealthy people that Biden claims were the only ones to benefit from that. But Obama and Biden passed a law that increased insurance premiums and deductibles for millions of families across the country while lying to their faces telling them they would save money. We have all been had but certainly not by Trump.

"Hollywood creative accounting" is real and why productions move state to state like leeches sucking blood from anyone willing to give them tax credits they can use.
It's also why many people that have invested in movies in the past will never do so again. A movie can make billions at the box office but on paper, it loses money and flushes investors out of the profit sharing. They create multiple LLCs to hide profit and shift money around to show losses. It's all legal too. Ethical is another story, though.
Marcus Lemonis, who is a pretty smart investor, has said he will never invest in Hollywood again because of this.

You can go find old unused accounts by scrolling the user list and many of them have simple passwords to crack like "Password". I have no doubt that some paid trolls have done that here.
It is well known they seek older accounts across social media to hide under and add credibility to themselves. The DNC was buying older Reddit accounts with a lot of Karma in 2015 and 2016.
