I think I said exactly this in a later post. And from what I gather from the experts here, we are zeroing in on whether or not she is a lawyer and that she certainly isn't an attorney but she is a J.D.

Six states don't even require the bar exam.
Funny enough, California is one of the states that is piloting a program offering "alternative pathways" to becoming a licensed attorney.

The gaslighting about how Zacharia "commanded the room" is SOOO over the top.

And you can work in a legal capacity without passing the bar, as long as you don't misrepresent yourself.
You can work in a corporate legal department, compliance, research, etc.
I have no idea whether she broke the rules or not, but she doesn't currently work in a legal capacity so it seems like a stupid conversation.

Joins the ranks of the following powerful women who failed the bar exam or didn't even bother to take the bar exam:
1. Hillary Clinton
2. Michelle Obama
3. Kamala Harris
4. Kim Kardashian
5. [[Katie the new WH press secretary]]
F this lady.
How entitled you gotta be to think you can get away with this shite?
Really is some unbelievable clown world BS.
Lol at all this.

It wouldn't be a conversation if she would explain
-why she has referred to herself as an "attorney"
-her answer about which state she passed the bar in
We pay her salary to COMMUNICATE. Just explain the situation, otherwise Trump's critics are going to keep hounding the Administration over this and Zacharia will continue to be a distraction rather than an effective spokesperson.

She needs to get more comfortable at the podium.

CA has had the LOSP program "forever." Is there a program where someone doesn't have to take the bar?
I am licensed in CA, but they don't even have straight reciprocity. I was able to take the one-day "Attorney's Examination" by being licensed in another state and in practice for 4 years. They are one of the stricter ones; many just have reciprocity with ~5 years of practice. They do allow pro hoc vice appearances under Rule 9.40 but some judges are really picky about it, especially for first chair work.

Uhm are you retarded or something?

Lawyer: Someone who has completed law school and earned a law degree (such as a Juris Doctor or J.D.). They are trained in the law, but a law degree alone does not grant them the right to practice law or represent clients if they have not passed a state bar exam. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Attorney (Attorney-at-Law): A lawyer who has successfully passed a state bar exam and holds an active license to practice law in a specific jurisdiction. Only a licensed attorney can represent clients in court, file official legal documents on their behalf, and provide formal legal counsel. [1, 2, 3, 4]

She walked right into the trap. They asked three questions and two of them were: how will you manage family life and where did you pass the bar.
She is too self conscious to admit she went to law school to get an Mrs. degree and she spent the last 15 yrs raising a family while dabbling in some part time gigs to avoid being labeled a stay at home mom.

I agree with you, and think people who care passionately about a press secretary are weird, but that’s what makes this such an unforced error. She has skirted the line about her credentials a lot. It’s not like she was some slam dunk, can’t miss orator Trump had to pick. He could have selected any of 10000 other hot blonde chicks without the baggage.

It was a total unforced error. All she needed to do was lean into the trad wife turned girl boss vibe, then tote the kids around the White House to humanize her.

I was reading about it earlier. It's a pilot program I guess. Something to do with "portfolio based and supervisory based" work to become licensed rather than sitting for the Bar. Which, honestly, would make all of this even funnier if the state tried to go after her for this, imo.

Instead of the White House gaslighting us on how well it went, she needs to laugh at herself...soon.

Primed her up with the most basic tactic there is.

Because that is the job of the God damn media - to attack the Press Secretary rather than ask questions to get info the public might actually want
they never questioned the raggedy andy bitch nor the vile redhead.

It is probably discriminatory for the DEI graduates that can't pass it who have law degrees they can't use.
That...is...almost certainly exactly why that trend is emerging.
Juts like Ivy League schools going away from college entrance tests so that they aren't liable for discrimination when they take minority students with SATs 300-400 points lower than Asian or Jewish or white students.
