Squatch Dawg, thanks for the common sense.
You can easily find out who owns the house and if they say there is no lease kick the guy out and LET HIM FILE A CIVIL SUIT. It doesnt work back assward.
And the carjacking is a good example as well. If your name is on the pink slip and the gangster says you let him borrow it.....do you take it to civil court and let the guy drive around in the car until then, nonsense.
Remind me never to hire some of you fellas as legal council

Wonder what would happen if lets say a masked robber broke in and beat the squatter with in inches of losing his life. Then a day or two later, while Mr. Squatter was getting the surgeries to keep him alive I went back into the house and threw all his shite out?

Stop paying the utilities and be sure there's a written notice that only the property owner of record can authorize any new utility connections.

It’s also not clear to me why this is a civil matter. Home invasions are typically handled by law enforcement, not ambulance chasers.

No, the point is that these laws are bullshite and did not contemplate the type and scale of “squatters” that exist now at the time they were made. Trespassing and theft should be treated like trespassing and theft. Squatters should not have tenants rights.

I say this as someone who was in the military, went to war, and saw what a complete sham it really is. I found no freedoms in Iraq. I didn’t look under every rock, but my “service” did nothing for anyone’s freedoms in America.
But it did help propagate inflation, constant war, death, and destruction.

There is a reason that Obama fired a lot of top staff and replaced them with left leaning sycophants. The political composition of the military has been the major deterrent to the leftist "revolution" commies dream of. It's more complicated than that, and I understand your point, but a more left leaning military is a very real threat to our domestic freedom.

Oh, I don't make light of the plight of the cops at all. They don't know what they don't know.
It would seem that the simplest thing to do is for the homeowner to get in the house, change locks, throw the trespasser's things out on the street and be done with it.
