Texas Gov Abbott: Bars cannot open until COVID positivity rate is well below 10%

Essentially, if you’re a bar or brewery owner in Texas you may as well get out of the business completely. He understands their plight though! They should’ve installed Pizza Ovens and cooked some burgers because them Covid wouldn’t affect patrons.

Ramp up testing.
Problem solved!

Can’t they do take out/drive thru? They had a few drive thru liquor stores open in Amarillo a few months ago.

Over 70% come from Texas’ Hispanic population
And the reasons for that will not go away by shutting down bars

At least he’s given them specifics to be looking for.

I think that keeps the lights on but it isn’t going to last too long for a lot of places

So I guess whatever took his legs took his balls...what a cuck

All the completely healthy people need to keep going and getting tested over and over again. Same number of sick people but the percent goes down if you flood the system with healthy people. Problem solved.

I keep saying this, if the gubment wants to keep testing so much, partner with bars in each city and do rapid tests at the bars! People get tested outside, wait 15 mins, and then get to enter or find out they’re positive and forced to go home. Easy.

He’s going to get his arse whipped in the primary in 2022

That sucks. Texas was making some pretty good microbrews. But, to your point, it is bullshite. It’s surprising to see Abbott drinking the Koolaid so hard. What a cuck.

Abbott is a cuck and wont receive a vote from me should he run again... might as well have a D in office

Time for everyone who knows they don't have it to get tested.
Posted on 8/12/20 at 6:35 pm to NIH
Well the positivity rate is 0.9% in Orleans and she still won't allow us to open.

Serve saltines with cheese for $3. With every purchase, you can get a beer for $1.

I'd got get tested but hospitals are dicking their numbers harder than a $2 hooker on half price night. I'd go in with no symptoms and get a two week unpaid vacation. Abbott is fricking himself hard. He was on the right track in phasing and then majorly screwed it up. I'll be voting for whomever else come 2022.

I wonder if he is going to handle that on a county by county basis. Houston's rate is at its lowest since May.
