Landslide in almost every county for Paxton. What a waste of money by the senate , giving Cornyn money

Damn. People can say what they want but Trump has made more moves than any other political figure that I can think of. Love hi or hate him....Trump runs this R party.

Thyme will be replaced next cycle. Unless he totally changes his tune but even then it maybe too late

Extremely similar to my situation. I'm retiring in 6 days.

It hasn't been his party. Lots of leftist fear being displayed tonight that Trump purges the R's of their proxies.

Yep, Thune has to go. He sat on that SAVE America Act, inspite of widespread support.

Thune has to go.

Thune will lose in a bloodbath. I bet I could run against him and still win just because he’s Thune.

Does the overall vote count of the race not look extremely low? Paxton v cornyn

Went from 80/20 odds of keeping the seat in GOP hands to roughly a coinflip in the betting markets in a state Trump carried by 14 points and with an incumbent that won by 30+ last time.
So those Cornyn folk are jumping ship? Nah. 2024 in TX was a total bloodbath in favor of the GOP and it wasn't even a wave election. It's just a conservative red state

Paxton's baggage is pathetic but Talarico is Beto on soy overdrive. Once the head-to-head campaigning actually starts those odds are going to look laughable

its going to be interesting to see how Trump’s 3.8% inflation impacts the general in November

They expected 10% turnout. Doesn't diminish the results.

The Senate GOP outspent Paxton 10 fold, didn't matter.
