I just saw this so I will give my opinion . First of all , space is a dangerous thing and hats off to all the astronauts and cosmonauts.

So when did they realize they wouldn’t be able to make it to the moon ? I think they started off having every intention of being able to make it. Through Mercury , Gemini and probably beginning of Apollo . Sometime in late 66 or early 67 I think they realized they wouldn’t be able to make it. The Apollo one fire probably sealed the deal and they shifted to a “if we can’t make it , we have to fake it “mindset . Obviously , it’s just speculation for anyone to say exactly when .

All it would take to convince me we can go would be to send a life ( dog , cat , rat , mouse whatever , into the radiation belt and back to earth. If that animal is still alive , I would be more inclined to at least believe we CAN go . The belt starts at 1000 miles above the surface. It lasts till about 25000 miles. Not a huge distance at all if we supposedly went 240000 miles to the moon .
Doesn’t it make you wonder that the only times we have been higher than 365 miles above the surface is Apollo and the moon trips ? Gemini , mercury , Soyuz , the space shuttle , and every other manned mission has not been further than New Orleans to Houston .

In Bart Sibrel’s documentary “ a funny thing happened on the way to the moon , NASA accidentally sent him a film of the Apollo astronauts faking being halfway to the moon , while they were in low earth orbit. It’s a three day trip. The date on the film is 18 July 1969. It’s literally on the film. Can’t make it to the moon by the 20th if you are still in low earth orbit on the 18th. So ,nasa told on themselves when they sent that film to Sibrel

I have heard that , obviously. The logical question would be. … why would the amount of power affect the distance. ? You would just be blasting it off the surface . Any size transmitter would get you miles . But the bigger the transmitter … the more the curvature of the earth doesn’t matter .
And a signal from the surface of the moon. ? 240000 miles ? That’s thirty earths away. But no problem. A deep cycle marine battery can handle that distance

Let me help you out . There are 94 US attorneys. Trump has been allowed to appoint a whopping 18. The other 76 are Biden or Obama holdovers . The republicans won’t allow Trump to have recess appointments, or to get rid of the blue slips which basically give the democrats the choice in democrat areas.
And as far as prosecutions … you think an up and coming Republican prosecutor wants to go to war with the democrats after Trump is gone. The dems play hardball . They tried to disbar anyone serving in the Trump administration the last time he was in office. Not a lot of takers this time for republicans to deal with that …. Enjoy

Russia has a different way of fighting than we do . Their way is to move slowly , dismantle the other countries ability to make war , attrition on the battlefield and then when the time is right …. Take it.
Our leaders have been telling Trump that Putin is struggling , losing 20000 men a week , and that Ukraine has a chance. That’s a lie. Trump now knows it’s a lie.
We either get a peace deal now or it’s going to look like Saigon in 1975 because Russia is a few months away from not needing a peace deal . They will just take what they want.
And to think…. This war would have been over within two months if Boris Johnson hadn’t told Zelenskyy to keep on fighting.
