Cassidy sealed his own fate, he thought people would forget in 6 years. They didn’t

Didn’t Cassidy say six years ago he wasn’t running again ? I may be wrong , but I thought that was one of the reasons he could vote to convict and not worry about the backlash . Whatever, I enjoyed voting for Fleming today .

The problem was it ran out of fuel

You think they didn’t put enough fuel on the plane to get from South Carolina to Baton Rouge ? They filled it up. Gas was spewing out the engines and catching fire. Just a hint … that’s not normal.

I cannot understand why people continue to fly small planes. You couldn’t pay me 10 million dollars to take a flight in any small plane. -John Denver -Buddy Holly -Patsy Cline -Glenn Miller -Lynyrd Skynyrd -Otis Redding -JFK Jr -Greg Biffle -that law firm in Houston a few months ago -Walter Reuther All died in small plane crashes, just to name a few.

First of all , Skynryd was on a passenger plane , a Convair 240 that would hold thirty people . It was the equivalent of a DC3 . The problem was , it wasn’t well maintained .

Almost all of those other crashes were “ visual flight rules pilot flew into instrument conditions “ or pilot warned not to fly because of bad weather and they flew anyway .
That’s jfk jr , patsy cline , Otis Redding , even Glen Miller ( even though this was in wartime ) .
In almost all these cases , either the passengers or the pilot had a bad case of “getthereitis” which is deadly .
That plane skynyrd was on was shooting flames out of one of the engines on the flight prior and Van zant coaxed everyone on and said they would get the plane serviced in Baton Rouge

Whichever one happened before Fox news started

Yes , when Fox came along we realized we had only been getting the left side of the story . Left wing Rupert Murdoch realized 50 percent of the country was left out of news and decided he could make some money on the side that had been ignored

Then what did you mean by your previous comment?
To the people who think we can help the Iranians overthrow their horrible government for something better … this AINT happening. There aren’t enough non radical non Muslim people to overthrow the radical Muslim Arabs
Giving guns to the population won’t work because they are on the same side as the regime.

The dumbest thing emerging from this war is the "Iranians are Persian and not Muslim" silliness.

The entire country is not Muslim … the entire country is not Arab . Most of it is , now . But it hasn’t always been . Sort of like London , England used to be majority of European descent . Now it’s londonstan

Are we trying to help the poor helpless Iranians getting executed in the street by their oppressive govt or starve them all to death? Is this a Team America reboot?
————————————————————-
90 % of that country are Muslim. There aren’t enough Persians to overthrow the government . Are there reasonable people there , who will negotiate a no nuclear deal? I don’t know
But they can’t be allowed to have one or they will hold the world hostage. Better to end this now.

Probably the smartest play. Blockade … until you bring them to their knees .

Listened to this game on the radio , then watched the hour long Notre Dame playback on Baton Rouge television the next morning .with Lindsey Nelson doing the play by play . Notre Dame playbacks were on every week in Baton Rouge for some reason , maybe because of the national reach of Notre Dame Then the Charlie Mac show later .

Games started at 8 for the longest time. Changed about 73 I think. (Our late final scores missed the east coast deadlines, so they moved to 7.) So games in Oct November were cool. No school colors. But you wore ribbons and badges etc and corsages for the ladies, all in purple and gold.

Remember going to games as a kid in the seventies and getting home in time to watch the highlights on the ten o’clock news , and we didn’t leave early .

On YouTube you can hear the radio broadcast of this game by both the lsu and Notre dame networks. Also the play by play footage from Notre Dame .

Park Forest Elementary class of 1975 checking in. We rode our bikes to school from edgemont drive

I grew up on edgemont. We moved there in 66 and there were less than twenty houses . Actually edgemont and Ridgemont to about two houses past sunny cline are in a subdivision originally known as Claremont . Went to sixth grade at park forest elementary school in its first year . Rode my bike to baseball and football practice at the jr high , to Frank And Ferd to get my haircut next to the stop and go at park forest barbershop . Cried like a baby when Angelo’s bbq closed . Damn that place was good. Snowballs at savoys snowball stand. Shopped at Patin’s grocery which later became oak villa supermarket . What a great place to grow up

He is about to end the GOP for the next 20 years, because he can't just shut the frick up and take wins. Not just this. . .but just in general

The GOP is about to end themselves for twenty years. Trump is over a year in to his second term. Can’t prosecute anyone because they won’t let him fill the 74 U S attorney positions that are available . His administration is maybe 40 percent filled because they won’t let him recess appoint anyone. Frick all of them. Thune and Johnson can go to hell !

Overrated coach. Could win with no talent, terrible coaching, with talent. See 1981 F4. No way that team should've laid an egg in Philly. He stayed at lsu about 5 years too late. Should've been immediately fired after blowing that lead to UK on Mardi Gras.

Add up the entire 1981 teams nba years and you see they really didn’t have the talent you think they had. Macklin three years and was marginal in the nba. Tree Green … 1 year Leonard Mitchell none. Ethan Martin and Willie Sims - none Howard Carter. 1 and a half. Marginal.

Isiah Thomas. Hall of famer. And Landon turner who would have been a great nba player but was paralyzed in car wreck.

I actually think Dale was a better x and o coach than he is given credit for but not quite as good a recruiter. We had one legitimate nba great. Shaq. That’s it. And in college Shaq was an offensive liability until his last year
Chris Jackson was marginal. Jerry Reynolds started 41 games in his entire nba career Ricky Blanton was called by espn , the worst nba player ever John” hot plate “ Williams was a bust . Stanley Robert’s was marginal

oh I see you mean the terrorism specific coverage is suspicious.... not like that building was the target of a terror attach 8 years prior, right???

Not by a plane … in fact … prior to 9 11 I can’t think of a single instance where a plane was used as the destructive device. Hi jacks - yes
Hostages taken - yes , but can’t recall a suicide bombing type event in a jet airliner
I actually think he was the “ Lee “ that alerted the police on the Chicago plot on Nov 2 . I think he knew there was a potential
Plot in Dallas but I don’t think he was part of the plot to kill jfk. I think he realized he was the patsy pretty quickly
