Translation: African Americans are too stupid and too poor to vote in the manner and time prescribed by law. Who's the racist here Froman?

It was redistricting. It's a rinse and repeat fight. Both sides draw the stupidest of maps. The district we lived in was once a couple of hundred miles long, and thin, just so the dems could guarantee it was always blue.

I read this quote in the AP article talking about it. LINK
I don’t think this representative understands the saying nor scale of conflict at all

What a refreshingly honest thing to say, since the Republicans are the ones trying to ensure election integrity by not allowing votes to be counted when cast by non-US citizens and dead people.
Fixed it for you.

This democrat tactic of walking out must be addressed. Therefore the Texas Legislalture should amend the rules to declare that in the future if the democrats walkout they forfeit the right to vote and the legislation passes with a simple majority of those lawmakers present.
That'll break'um from sucking eggs.

Democrats think all blacks are super retarded.

Nothing could be further from the truth. The actions of Democratic legislators in Texas is our representative democracy working the way it should.
Tyranny of the majority shouldn't be allowed in Texas or anywhere else. Name one good thing that would have resulted from the passage of the Texas bill.

Everyone shouldn't get a trophy. Take your ball and go home, let the adults do some work.
It's okay when the other side does it, amirite?

It seems that Tarzana hates democracy, unless it means he's winning.

You democrats stuff the ballot boxes with Cheat-by-Mail ballots, use rigged voting machines, and then accuse lawmakers of tyranny when they attempt to correct the injustice.
Me thinks you suffer from delusion.

I read the bill.
Does it make voting more difficult? No.
Does it make cheating more difficult? Yes.
Therefore, if you are against the bill you are in favor of cheating. This is why the Dems are so fervently against the bill. It's not complicated at all.
Posted on 5/31/21 at 9:11 am to Ripley
Nope. The Democrats want to be able to cheat by having mail-in ballots mailed to nursing home patients (specifically patients suffering from dementia), mentally ill patients, and group home patients. Democrat operatives vote for them and mail in the ballots. I have witnessed this in person.

Poorer people can’t just walk out of their jobs whenever they want to go vote or they will be fired. They can go after hours. They can mail in their votes. The republican logic is to make sure those kind of people can’t make it to the polls before they close, and can’t vote by mail.

It's LAW that employers must allow time to vote. Your argument is based on a lie.
