The climate change alarmists hoax is a big part of corruption.

quote:

the usual when people are displaced

Humans are really good at slow moving catastrophes. We adapt. The pain and solutions to pain can be spread out over time.

Humans are not so good a sudden catastrophes. The pain comes all at once and people die or get hurt.

But sudden catastrophes are not something new. We just just have to prepare for them and we are doing a MUCH better job of preparing for sudden catastrophes. Some could make an VERY strong argument that fossil fuels have led to man's ability to engineer and prepare for sudden catastrophes better than ever. The data certainly shows that we are getting better at handling sudden catastrophes even as CO2 concentration levels increase:

Notice on that chart how drought was once more of a problem. Drought was a problem 100-50 years ago because man moved into once naturally arid regions and farmed that land without sufficient irrigation. Irrigation has caught up in many regions and catching up in new regions so drought is becoming less and less of a problem.

Broadly speaking, those who are most worried about climate change are more educated and affluent. Worrying about climate change to that degree is an affliction allowed by luxury not found in developing countries or even in the poorer parts of our country.

It's because they're worried about more pressing issues such as security, food, water. That doesnt invalidate the future issues climate change will bring.

This is absolutely terrifying. The liberal indoctrination of our children in school is a real threat

The crux of the climate "debate" should be how to limit the scope of the warming ---> limit the pain and cost of the adaptation. While, you know, planning for the adaptation.

Your point on civilization adapting vs "we're all going to die" is a true one though. I roll my eyes everytime I see one of those headlines saying we're all going to die by 2050. It's over the top and any climatologist worth their salt would tell you the same.

Sounds like another way libs are weeding themselves out of the gene pool. I have no problem with it.

So...exactly what they're going through now? Really going out on a limb there.

I love people like this. They instantly identify themselves as idiots and I can no longer listen to them.

I have Killer Asteroid anxiety. One really big one and we're gone. The chances of it happening are 50-50 over the next 10 billion years.

50-50 seems really low for that timeline. Probably closer to 100%...around 99% with that timeline.

Just laminate it, and in 2029 hand it to them.

At that point you get to remind them you said that was stupid, and perhaps listening to you is a better way to go

No, it isn't. Tell Zeke "These alarmists have been predicting global disaster would occur ten years in the future for the past four decades."
quote:

I have this. It’s why I haven’t brought more kids into the world so far.
Thank God. All leftists should pledge to stop procreating.

I can't imagine how mentally fricked up the current preteen group of kids are going to be when they reach their 20s. Hardcore indoctrination with scare tactics for nearly 18 years of "education."
