A couple of months ago Gumbopot or another poster started thread about pending disasters predicted for ten and twenty years in the future. When you clicked the thread, you could see the report was from 1988, 1990, 1995 and similar. Find those and go to the originalnsoirce and demonstrate pleasantly that they were full of shite then as they are now.

I would, but I'm sure you can guess how far a typical conversation with dissenting opinion goes with her.

She's not my kid, not worth the time and effort. Hopefully she makes good on her conviction not to procreate.

According to climate change expert, Paul Ehrlich, the great die off should have occurred between 1980 and 1989. Four billion dead, including 65 million Americans. We're still waiting on that.
