Milwaukee is completely controlled by Democrats. Despite that, there can be ZERO justification for obstructing the Feds from making arrests in the Milwaukee Courthouse.

Judge Dugan knew this because there had been at least two publicized arrests before the one she obstructed. On the facts alleged, she is clearly guilty of obstruction. Of course, a state "Courthouse procedure" can't trump federal law. Dugan, however, won't even be able to argue that she made a "good faith" mistake.

This is from a Milwaukee media outlet on 4/8/25:

"Chief Judge Ashley said both arrests happened in hallways. He said he's "still researching" if that violates any courthouse policy, but a spokesperson for Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley said it doesn't appear to violate policy.

"The Milwaukee County Courthouse is a public building where people regularly come to conduct business. This includes law enforcement officials representing various local, state, and federal agencies. With this in mind, we don't believe a courthouse complex policy was violated last week," the spokesperson said in a statement sent to WISN 12 News."

Article Showing Feds Not Barred From Arrests

Dugan is cooked. Even a Wisconsin jury won't save her. The Milwaukee Division of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin includes some Republican suburbs for the jury pool.

I dropped an OP last week where I posited if mass civil unrest ever kicks off across the nation it very well could be over leftist judges and their unchecked power grab.

I'm generally not in favor of swapping bad lawfare for good lawfare. With the ridiculous over-changing that was done with the J6 protestors, I wouldn't mind an ambitious roster of criminal charges in this case.

I agree with you. Thankfully, I think almost all of the anti-MAGA judicial overreach will be overturned on appeal. The only thing that worries me is the Supreme Court will read into the Alien Enemies Act a right to due process that doesn't appear anywhere in the Act.

So, I don't think MAGA will have to engage in civil unrest. As more and more appeal losses pile up, however, I think the Left will take to the streets.

Frankly, I hope the Left rallies around Judge Dugan in her obstruction of Federal agents. Those are HORRIBLE facts for the Dems.

I wouldn't recommend watching all of it (it's near supper time), but this "rally" in Wisconsin is worth listening to for the first minute. It's highly entertaining to see them purposefully skip over the FACTS of Dugan's illegal obstruction.

And after she is fired and doesn't sovereign immunity, let the families that were there in court open a "go fund me" and lawfare her into poverty.

I’m sure there are several levels of fraud related to public records for how she handled the case considering opposing counsel was in the courtroom and not informed that anything had happened.

It's not like a courthouse is a medieval church. It's not a sanctuary.

I hope she is ruined financially. An example needs to be made of her as a warning to others…there will be consequences for your actions.

I said this in another thread

It's fed court - the jury pool is going to be 70% suburb so greater chance of a conservative jury

Another TERRIBLE fact for Dugan: she let someone accused of domestic violence skip the hearing date, without consent of the prosecuting attorney ("Attorney B" below).

Also, the victims had shown up.

From the criminal complaint:

"Later that morning, Attorney B realized that Flores-Ruiz’s case had never been called and asked the court about it. Attorney B learned that Flores-Ruiz’s case had been adjourned. This happened without Attorney B’s knowledge or participation, even though Attorney B was present in court to handle Flores-Ruiz’s case on behalf of the state, and even though victims were present in the courtroom."

The fact she did this to help him escape is not the worst part of it.

She did it mid-trial while he was being tried for abusing a couple - he beat them until they were hospitalized. They were there and had to witness this judge putting an illegal over them.

I at least hope the victims were liberals so they were getting what they voted for.
