As I understand it, the 2019 withholding order only prevented deportation to El Salvador. I don’t know if there are grounds for deportation elsewhere or if there could be grounds for deporting him to El Salvador despite the 2019 order. The Supreme Court has stated, 9-0, that the District Court "properly requires the Government to 'facilitate' Albrego Garcia's release from custody in El Salvador and to ensure that his case is handled as it would have been had he not been improperly sent to El Salvador." I just want the Government to abide by the Court’s ruling, which requires that the Government behave lawfully but in no way decides whether Garcia should be deported.
