Great job. Much respect for that fella. Truth is simple. Today the left over intellectualize and convolute truth until is has no base, from which we are told men can be women.

What an amazing young man! His parents should be very proud of him. This young baw has more maturity and wisdom than many members of Congress.

Hank is correct in this case, and those of you arguing with him, WTF are y’all talking about? That’s not a free speech issue. It has nothing to do with the bible. Thte town has an ordinance, like most towns, preventing obnoxious disturbances. How would you like it if you were in the town square trying to chill and some buffoon was reading the Koran loudly? It would be irritating as hell.

I said that he had no right to read in such a way as would violate the city ordinance:

I didn't see any of the 'law' enforcement officers with a decibel meter measuring the exact level. So, it was a judgement call made by the 'law' and there was no warning given. This is outside of normal protocol and I hope the 'law' officers get reprimanded, but we all know that won't happen.

I wonder if a gathering of Christians in this same WI town had a gathering for a pro life event and they were being harassed by a buncha rabid Planned Parenthood rabble rousers with bullhorns and signs, I wonder if those PP protesters would have been arrested? I wonder?

it helps to set aside the notion that these people are actually proponents of the constitution. Once you accept that they are simply SoCon ideologues, everything they say makes perfect sense.

Blaring the Bible on a loudspeaker? Perfectly acceptable. Blaring the Quran on the loudspeaker? Absolutely not.

Blaring Thomas Paine on the loudspeaker? Hurray! Blaring Karl Marx? String them up!

Blaring Rush Limbaugh reruns on the loudspeaker? Patriots! Blaring Rachel Maddow on the loudspeaker? Where are the cops? Why aren’t they enforcing the law?

nothing that these people say or do is based upon the constitution. Absolutely every bit of it is result-driven.

one of the kid’s zealot friends is yelling about a decibel meter, so you just accept that as being the law? Fairly typical, actually.

The actual ordinance has been posted and discussed in detail. It says nothing about decibel level.

If there is no set decibel level then how are people to know if they are exceeding it? So, it's just a judgement call by the 'law' officers and again, they did not use normal protocol and give a warning.

I don’t find pedos and groomers to be reasonable (by my definition).

What is your definition of reasonable?

In my mind, this young man, seems perfectly reasonable.

He points out the danger for authoritarian regimes, like Nazis.

The irony is that, this ordinance (written in a manner in which it can be weaponized) is something akin to what the Nazis would have probably abused as well in order to arrest Jews early on.

I can’t imagine myself ever defending such garbage.

You do you though.

In determining what is a reasonable “noise” no less.

FWIW, Hank didn’t truly define “noise” when pressed earlier.

Just another example of Leftist Hank supporting the goose-steppers.

You are focused upon content. The ordinance is content-neutral and focuses on VOLUME.

of course not. You are a bomb-throwing ideologue. The very notion of being conciliatory towards your neighbor is entirely foreign to you, even for something as simple as lowering the volume of your ranting.
