This explains why they’re just letting them break into your car willy nilly, they don’t want you to have one.

New Orleans is 1 of 14 cities planning on banning Meat, Dairy, And Private Vehicles By 2030

quote:

Fourteen major American cities are part of a globalist climate organization known as the “C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group,” which has an “ambitious target” by the year 2030

of “0 kg [of] meat consumption,” “0 kg [of] dairy consumption,” “3 new clothing items per person per year,” “0 private vehicles” owned, and “1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person.”

quote:

Nearly 100 cities across the world make up the organization, and its American members include Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.

X - What in the F is this? 6 years away?
I guess our unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are just so passé?

You have a link? This is wish casting nonsense. None of that is feasible at all and would destroy the entire economy of those cities.

Right. And you'd be getting rid of the people as well because very few people would tolerate not being able to have a vehicle.

I'm torn on this - do you let these cities commit economic suicide or intervene?

Amazing what they want YOU to do.
Ain't `no way they'll stick with that, but they'll sure as hell enforce it on you.

I'm looking at the C40 cities website right now and don't see anything about banning meat or dairy. Sounds like this might just be made up although the website does seem pretty stupid.

quote:

The Food Systems Network has had a fundamental role in the success of the C40 Good Food Cities Accelerator, where leading cities helped develop the ambition of science-based targets. The commitment was launched at the 2019 C40 Global Mayors Summit and co-signed by 14 cities who agreed to work with their residents towards achieving a ‘Planetary Health Diet’ for all by 2030, with balanced and nutritious food, reflective of the culture, geography, and demography of their residents. These goals are met by delivering the following measures:

Align food procurement to the Planetary Health Diet, ideally sourced from organic agriculture
Support an overall increase of healthy, plant-based food consumption in cities by shifting away from unsustainable, unhealthy diets.
Reduce food loss and waste by 50% from a 2015 baseline.
Within two years of endorsing this accelerator, work with residents, businesses, public institutions, and other organisations to develop a joint strategy for implementing these measures and achieving these goals inclusively and equitably, and incorporating this strategy into Climate Action Plans.
Each city developed an action plan, including baseline figures and environmental, health, social and economic co-benefits where available, which will be regularly updated. Read the city action plans learn more about the Good Food Cities Accelerator.

Stupid feel good do nothing enviro speak? Yes. Actually taking your meat and dairy away? They aren't admitting it on their website even if they want to.

With what authority exactly?

These are powerless morons trying to get people to join their cause which is likely just some non profit money laundering scheme.

If they ban meat, we’ll all be on a Lucky Dog and Hubig’s diet.

And people mock conspiracy theories. The one re the govt. taking control over our personal finances thru the use of digital currency would seem to be a perfect match. Don't forget, the Canadian govt. broke the truckers' strike by freezing their bank accounts. Denying them access to their own money.

They know that they can arrest storeowners for opening during a lockdowns. Arrest barbers for cutting hair.
You don't think that they won't be able to enforce a business from selling meat?

I kinda feel sorry for people that believe this stuff. You think they're banning milk? Really?

This feels like something they put out there knowing you'll run with it so they can point at you and make you look like spreaders of falsities.
