My very first thought is wondering if he supports the welfare state and understands what it created.
Second thought was that I do feel bad for that guy and people like him. You can tell he's come to the realization that nothing he does matters. That his "kind" are destined for total failure. Doesn't stop him from wanting to do right by those students, but he knows he's fighting a losing battle and it's soul crushing.
End the welfare state and this shite won't be nearly as ubiquitous as it is now.

But they know what white privilege, oppression, and discrimination mean. That's the main thing public schools teach nowadays it seems. Social justice.

A true welfare system would be designed as a fail safe for those during hard times not a way of life. This shows too many people are taking advantage of the system

He is a caring teacher. While the media and even those on this board can criticize the profession this guy appears to be someone who got into the profession to make a difference. A lot of good teachers out there are just as frustrated with society and culture. Not all teachers are liberal minded goofs that support the rainbows or godlessness. The broad brush used by many unfairly paints the entire profession the same which just isn’t true. I can attest that locally if you tried to push a whacked out personal liberal minded agenda you’d find yourself unemployed.
