Just a quick search shows the Taliban is an estimated 75k vs an army of 200k+

There is no country for these people. The middle east borders are meaningless. Here's the real borders.

They're fighting to make a country for sure.

I love how we are so flush with cash that we just leave untold millions of dollars of shite just laying around even though we had more than adequate time to plan a competent withdrawal that allowed for taking that shite with us.

in the month of February alone, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services sold 34.7 million pounds of scrap from its own vehicles and equipment to local Afghan vendors, according to figures provided to FoxNews.com. And in the past 12 months, the agency sold 387 million pounds of scrap, sending $46.5 million back to the U.S. Treasury.

Wait, this was in 2014? So, the brain trusts that run our military scrapped who knows what because they "were soon to pull out of Afghanistan", only to end up staying another seven years?

Our enemies know this administration is weak and impotent, and that they can drag their nuts over our faces.

I don't think our special ops guys will even have time to get there before Kabul falls.

He left in a shite ton hurry this morning. They will be boots on the ground before we wake up tomorrow morning.

This is going to be a shite show. My one comfort is he is surrounded by fellow tier 1 operators. Ironically one of the guys in his company’s dad was in the first spec ops (5th) group into Afghanistan. Now his son will be one of the last on the retreat.

Reports now coming in that senior military leadership and high level Afganistan political leaders are fleeing Afganistan for India.

Multiple reports Afgan President Ashraf Ghani, Amrullah Saleh, Hamdullah Mohib, Rahmatullah Andar and Abdul Rashid Dostum have left for the Kabul airport.

The Independent UK

"The US foreign and defence minister have asked Pres. Ashraf Ghani to resign in order to pave the way for a 6 months ceasefire and a transitional government."

President Ghani has already fled the country so how does the Biden Admin negotiate a cease fire now?

F**k it. If the Afghans can’t defend themselves after almost twenty years without the Taliban then we should evacuate the Americans and make one thing crystal clear to the Taliban. If the Taliban f**ks with the USA and/or harbors anyone that f**ks with the USA then we will respond with enough nukes to turn Afghanistan into glass and enough MOABs to collapse every tunnel in the Afghan mountains.

I'm not sure the Taliban are going to give one single frick about what the US wants or asks of them. We killed a lot of these cavemen's family so there will be a lot of blood spilled if we can't get our people out of the Embassy ASAP.

The US is in no position to negotiate anything. We left knowing full damn well what would happen. Cut the strings, let the chips fall where they may, and leave those frickers to their on devices.

Sounds simple but we have 2000 American's still on the ground in Kabul and no air base in logistical reach. We could be witnessing a slaughter the likes of which we haven't seen since 911.

We killed a lot more Japanese. We dropped two atomic bombs and they not only surrendered but renounced the “god” they had worshipped for centuries. If the Taliban doesn’t care about what we say then we nuke them until they do care. No more Mr Nice Uncle Sam

Just saw that 3,000 soldiers and Marines are headed in to help with a "partial" embassy evacuation

Nuke one Afghan village, town, or city for every American harmed or killed. That will get the Taliban’s attention.
