Just a quick search shows the Taliban is an estimated 75k vs an army of 200k+

An army that was put together with American money and that wilts in the face of the Taliban. OK. Not quite a flex there.

What a flop by the Biden Administration.
You won’t hear this on the news anywhere though.

This shite would have happened under any other president. I hate Biden like most others on this site but this was always going to happen the moment we pulled out.

Sounds simple but we have 2000 American's still on the ground in Kabul and no air base in logistical reach. We could be witnessing a slaughter the likes of which we haven't seen since 911.

That was always a possibility with how this was handled. You don't pull out your firepower and leave the fricking pencil pushers there to face the backlash. Period. Anyone with half a brain, let alone actual intelligence operations in the area, knew good and damn well what the likely scenario was. You don't spend 20 years with a spineless military and not know it.

Never mind the fact that this isn't the first time we've seen this damn movie.

Yep. The Biden Administration will own this clusterfrick. "It would have happened with any administration" just doesn't fly.

Do we do this on purpose so we'll have to buy more shite from contractors later, to fight against the old shite we just "lost"?

Even if this was true, the amount of attention it gets and blame he will receive will not be the same.

The Wal Mart Republicans can’t stand anything remotely critical of “Dear Leader” so they make their own “truths”.

Credit Trump for getting things started on the withdrawal. Credit Biden for continuing on the path. But realize that regardless of leaving by May 1 or Sept 11 what happens when we are gone is going to be a cluster f—- of epic proportions — neither Trump nor Biden are to “blame” for it.

You are so full shite. They left humvis, drones, and I'm sure some pretty heavy artillery. Trump would not have done that. This is all on Biden you moron.

Gotta fund the perpetual war on terror.

No war, no huge MIC contracts to receive kick backs from, so need to make sure the opponent is funded.

No one debates or questions this. What we are questioning is the complete disregard for the high likelihood that what we are currently seeing happen would happen. None of this is a surprise.

I know we caused this mess, but 2000 Americans sounds like a perfectly good excuse to raise the black flag and let the military go unleashed for a while.

We could go in and get all 2000 out tomorrow if our leaders wanted to.
