How fast will they get there?

Well, before everything went completely to shite, the Biden administration said "by the end of the week".

I'm assuming their timeline has been stepped up greatly.

Considering it defies logical reason that anyone would vote for him, I understand where he’s coming from.

You also believe I should no longer be allowed to vote? Even though I am pissed off at him and a clear swing voter who would happily vote for any reasonable Republican with a pulse before Kamala?

I mean I don't think we have to worry about US military equipment being sold to Iran/China, etc.

I'm pretty sure that all of our foes has the tech specs on pretty much everything we have.

The execution of the troop withdrawal has been completely inexcusable dereliction of duty. Hopefully Biden and Co don't frick up this situation any more than they already have, but I have a feeling some Americans are going to die because of the incompetence.

I don’t want to deviate from the topic at hand, but everyone should have the right to vote. No reasonable and sane person wants to take your right to vote.

The person you just said you "understand where he’s coming from" literally said I should not have the right to vote anymore.

The notion that anyone with a pulse should have the right to vote is one of the main reasons our constitutional republic is all but lost.

Was following a thread on another site with a former marine/current contractor was playing babysitter from the roof tops of the embassy.

Doubt a contractor supplying security is taking the time to update his thread. Seems like a fake… or a really bad idea.

Surely 6k US troops are enough to defend an airport long enough to get out the 5,000 something expats. Maybe i’m foolish, but surely the rag tag band of Taliban wouldn’t be dumb enough to take on 6k hunkered down US troops.

Ummmm...

Scruffy may actually disagree. I have soured in universal suffrage over the years.

That is for an entirely different thread though.

No one thinks this.

However the fact that your vote is part of why we are where we are should not be swept under the rug. Don't get me wrong, you're not alone.

But we as a nation more and more vote based on our feelings. You are part of that group. Own it.

Who should have the right to vote, under our constitutional republic?

No we can’t. The people you voted for stopped caring about civil discussion years ago. This is what you wanted.

You believe that, just because I voted for Biden, I am impossible to reason with.

Voting for Biden means you are either getting exactly what you wanted or are too stupid to listen to reason. Either way, yes absolutely.

So if I had voted for Hillary, I would have believed in unity? Or are you saying no one who voted in 2016 can believe in unity?

Didn’t you just say you didn’t vote in 2012 because you were mad at Obama? Who forced you to vote in 2016? And what state were you in where there were only 2 candidates eligible to be voted for?

You seem to have forgotten to respond to the last part of that post. Here, I’ll post it again. I’ll even bold it so you’ll see it better:

Why(are you very unhappy with Biden right now)? Exactly what part of Joe Biden’s campaign or several decades of political history led you to believe he was capable of anything better than this? This is what you voted for.

I am. Right now. Everyone has always voted their feelings, and it's silly to imagine otherwise. Now you own it.

They have the airport surrounded with artillery. They don’t have to take them on. They can set back and pound them with artillery. And it won’t take many hits before the single runway at the airport is out of Comission.

You voted with feelings instead of your intellect, right?

There is no defense of whom you voted for. Own it.

Rep Gregory Meeks (D-NY) just said he was in a meeting with Biden a few weeks ago and one of the reason Biden decided to pull out is because Afghani's won't stand up and fight.

We are pulling out because we aren't Afghan's military.
