The Dutch are trying to take some heat off the US. They abandoned their Embassy without informing the Afghans working for them that they were leaving. I haven't seen a translated post of their response, yet.

I haven't seen numbers anywhere.
The US had over 10,000 American Citizens over there.
They have evacuated 2000 since the start of the seige, including only 640 over the 48 hrs.
This leaves over 8k American citizens currently outstanding according to the Government's estimate of 10k last weekend.
