I agree. Everyone since Bush is to blame for Afghanistan.
Glad we agree.

Yet only one President is to blame for completely and utterly fricking up the withdrawal.
And his response was to blame everyone else.
There's no question that this is a disaster. I don't really give a shite what he says to the camera, I just want safe harbor for the remaining Americans and Afghans who put their lives on the line to assist us. The things I've heard about some them today sound like something out of a goddamn horror movie.

That takes strong leadership to accomplish.
We do not have strong leadership.

Twitter has now anchored #biden from trending
Sorry for those not interested in this info, I just think it’s important to note these things. It’s a big deal.
Kind of like Twitter allowing the Taliban to have twitter accounts but are quick to ban/suspend local politicians and people who oppose COVID restrictions.

When I was out and about for a bit earlier I turned on the local talk radio for the first time in years. It was a local show and the guy is a lawyer and veteran. When he was first in Afghanistan his interpreter was a 17 year old kid. That kid went on to become a US citizen and work advising Trump and the Ghani government in Afghanistan. He still has family in Afghanistan and has been giving reports from the ground this week to the host.
He told the host that he had talked to his cousin a few days ago and was told there is a large contingent of foreign fighters with the Taliban on the ground. His cousin told him that the house/residences across from the property the guy's parents still own was "full of likely Pakistanis" who only got to the area a few weeks before.
Keep in mind, that to the Afghan civilians these people are known only as "The Foreigners". That's what they called them before we got to the area and that is still what they call them.
What American servicemen and Afghan Army call them is Al Qaeda, as the bulk of Al Qaeda harbored by the Taliban in Afghanistan were foreign fighters. Having this information, which granted is little more than hearsay at this point, is concerning, but not unexpected.

Is there a Nobel Peace Prize for Best Plan Never Acted Upon? Maybe he can borrow Obama's.
What a dumb fricking statement.

Come on, neither one of use knows what's going on at Camp David right now
To some extent no, but here is what I do know. There are no foreign leaders at Camp David (it has to be public knowledge). There are no allied leaders saying anything about being in communication with Biden (they usually mention it some way). The pool reporters who are always able to see most of the non-classified action even at Camp David when there is something happening have had zero access.
Biden is asleep at the switch.

Which requires the leadership to make sure it's in the right place at the right time.
Which we do not have.
Hence abandoning Bagram in the middle of the night.

They should have put this Hindu Priest baw in charge of the Afghan Army:

PANDIT RAJESH KUMAR, A PRIEST AT THE "#RATANNATHTEMPLE" IN KABUL
“SOME HINDUS HAVE URGED ME TO LEAVE KABUL AND ARRANGE FOR ME TO TRAVEL AND STAY.
BUT MY ANCESTORS SERVED THIS TEMPLE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS. I WILL NOT ABANDON IT. IF THE TALIBAN KILL ME, I CONSIDER IT MY SERVICE. “ LINK
