This is being reported Live by Fox News. If this is true, frick Ghani and his gov't.

This has to be grounds for impeachment, right? And I put Harris in that boat, too. She’s privy to enough intelligence briefings to have seen this coming.

It is certainly more worthy of impeachment than either of the runs they took at Trump. But we should be surprised. Remember Baghdad? What difference does it make at this point? There will be no consequences.

You can tell Ghani personally since Biden is letting him fly to the US to live here today.

Those dogs are considered American soldiers. They many times put their lives on the line for their fellow soldiers. Sorry, but US soldiers matter more than foreigners....

"This is a crisis of untold proportions," Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) told NBC News Sunday as Taliban militants swept into Kabul. "This is an intelligence failure. We underestimated the Taliban and overestimated the resolve of the Afghan Army."
Wait until she finds out that they gave up long ago taking money from the taliban to surrender once this went down

As much as I am glad we will finally be out of this shite hole, there need to be repercussions on what all happened here, from the President on down.

And rightly so. Dogs should not take precedence over humans.

You are correct in this instance, but I can think of some examples where I'm rescuing the dog and not Pelo...... um a person.

Just saw that German reinforcements had to land in Uzbekistan because they couldn't get land in Kabul. Why did we ever abandon Bagram? We could be doing rooftop pickups all day and night in Kabul and at the airport.

I don't disagree with you but they should have found a way to put them on the planes under cover but the damage is done now. It was a huge frick up to have paraded the dogs in public view onto the plane.

How would they do it undercover? There are people climbing fences and running on the tarmac. There are people literally hanging onto the wheels of the plane. Maybe they can put a burka on them and have them walk upright.

Stick the dogs in the back of a truck and load them onto the plane or do it under the cover of night.

You'll never convince me that they deserve to be on the plane. I understand that we are leaving people that will probably die but that's on the ineffectual leadership we have. No, dogs don't volunteer to serve, but they damn well know they are to give their lives to save their handlers. So too bad. Damage is already done anyway. At least we can stay true to one maxim that we never leave a soldier behind.

Also reports that since its now dark in Kabul that aircraft do not feel comfortable landing due to the humans sitting on the airfield.

American military aircraft don't need and prefer no light.
