Yeah, I can’t buy into the “this is Trump’s fault because he made a deal 2 years ago” narrative they are trying to spin.
Is this one of the only Trump policy/deals that the current administration hasn’t changed or reversed since they took office? I mean they have proudly overturned a shite ton of Trump’s orders and policies so it’s not like they didn’t know they couldn’t.
And I support the withdrawal, (should have been done long ago), and knew that after that, chaos would ensue in the country.
My problem is the manner in which it was done. No way should civilians have been left in the country AFTER you withdrew your military. frick.

This.
It’s peak war season (warm months) and they left countless military assets that they had to know would be compromised.
The least that could have been done was wait till winter months and remove the assets in addition to the obvious of getting our civilians out. It’s not rocket science.
This all appears deliberate. The question is why?

I don't think many people have an issue that the troops are being withdrawn, most were applauding it in fact. However, the bothlching of the withdrawal is completely on Biden, who doesn't think to pull the civilians out before the military personnel. There should have been a plan that didn't
A) first and foremost, put American lives in danger
B) Allow weapons and information into Taliban control
C) Pull out without telling our allies there
Now the fact that the executive branch has not made a comment on the situation at all and Joe Biden is "on vacation" is completely inexcusable. The incompetence on display is completely staggering, or this was intentional and bordering on treason.

this is a lazy disingenuous take at minimum. The media is spending plenty of coverage on global COVID news, the Olympics, the Haiti travesty, etc. All international news. Nice take.
And while we’re spinning things, what about the complete radio silence from your administration? I was told this would be back to “normal” and we’d see a level of transparency we’d never seen before in the WH.
